A peaceful night in the mainland of Kangkeipak. Some guards who were on duty sensed some movements from the bushes outside the territory of the mainland.
1st guard :-. I'll check.
2nd guard:- Okay. (to the others) Stay alert everyone.
1st guard:- Show yourself, mister.
A person wearing a bamboo mask dragging himself, moves forward, staggering along his path. Black war suit covered him from head to toe.
The person :-. Let me pass through.
1st guard:-. First, show me the entry pass.
The second guard noticed an emblem on the person's cloak.
He whispered to a junior standing next to him," Inform the commander that it's a Black tail."
The guards stood alert tightening their weapons as the junior guard ran swiftly as possible towards the commander's quarter.
The person:- I don't have a pass. *pants* * huff* *huff* I need to go in.
1st guard:-. No pass, no entry in the mainland.
Several guards pointed their weapons towards the person.
1st guard:- To avoid bloodshed, please leave as soon as possible.
The person tugged his torn mask tightly. Distracting the crowd surrounding him by throwing a handful of sand towards their eyes, he kicked a guard standing infront of him and jumped over another as a stepping tool to climb across the territory fence. Managing to escape from the guards as soon as possible, the person staggered into the forest inside the mainland.
Meanwhile, the warlord governing the territory region was taking a stroll with his bodyguard, Ayangba on their horses. Gamba, generally known as Gamba , the Chinglai Ngamba , was known for his great valour and strength and his victory against the Crimson Chinglai. He was one of the seven greatest warlord of Kangleipak. Not only his striking facial features was sharp but his long black hair compliments his handsome face and beautifully chiseled warrior body. [chinglai : means dragon , Chinglai Ngamba : means stronger than the dragon].
As he was patrolling with Ayangba, a messenger came with a news.
The messenger :-. Sire, the Commander relayed a message that an intruder wearing a black tail emblem has sneak passed the mainland fence just now.
Gamba :- (nods) You may go.
The messenger bowed and left.
Gamba :- Ayangba, make sure of no spread of this news.
Ayangba :-. Yes, sire.
The warlord rode towards the mainland territory fence. He rode towards the commander who relayed the message as soon as he reached there. The commander who served under him was tensed as he riled around the gate as if waiting for the warlord. He bowed down as soon as he saw Gamba.
Gamba :-. Where is the intruder?
Commander :-. Sire, it seems that he ran away into the forest. ( he continued ) Sire,.... it's a Black tail emblem. What should we do about it?
Gamba. :- ( in his stern voice) Don't let the news reach the palace.
Commander :-. Yes, sire.
He then rode into the forest where the intruder was believed to be hiding.
The forest was known for the growth of the dense teak trees and some vegetations which are mainly collected by the food gatherers if the mainland for selling in the market. So, it allowed entry for only some people. It was also once believed to be hideout for robber and murderers before the kingdom was fully established.
Gamba went further into the forest. The galloping of his horse could be heard so loud as the sound hit the tall and big teak trees and echoing. In an instant, he threw a dagger, 60 degrees from the ground level towards the big teak tree towards his left. The attack responded back with a ' clang' sound as defence.
Blood dripping from the body, the intruder attacked back with a long sword, striking down towards the warlord. Gamba defended himself using his sword.
It was a vigorous series of attack and defence but the warlord having an upper hand against the hurt intruder, maintained a distance and threw a second dagger towards him. The staggering fighter dodged but got slightly grazed on the bamboo mask which broke it into two pieces.
Gamba :- ( shockingly). A woman?!?
The sudden movement seemed as if she used every ounch of energy which was left inside her body, causing her to lose consciousness.
[...The person was portrayed as a mysterious person so I used the pronoun 'he' instead of 'she'.]
