"Divina! Where are you going?"
Argh! Can't they stop calling me on that name? It seems like they're calling a saint or something! It's irritating!
"Home." I simply answered. I'm talking about my grandmother's house in Seville. That's more like a home to me than this freaking mansion.
"What? Where?" he asked again.
Can't he just mind his own business? It's not like we're related by blood. I don't really know if he treats me as his daughter or he's just pretending to care. I don't care either, so the feeling is mutual.
"Argh! Stop playing the dad role!" I told him and finished packing my clothes inside my luggage.
I hurriedly went out of my room carrying my luggage, I'm going to my grandma. I don't wanna stay at this house anymore. I'm getting sick of this place. This place is suffocating me.
This is worse than hell.
"I'm telling this to your mom!"
I faced him.
"Really? Then tell her that I won't come back, either."
Jeez, I didn't expect those words to come out from my mouth. But better out than in. I don't want to explode because of my anger so I better spit it out.
I hailed a cab the moment I got out from the mansion. Good thing our village's security isn't that tight, cab's are allowed to go in and out.
I'll never return to that house anymore. Not even in this country.
I told the driver to take me to NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport). I still have enough money to buy a plane ticket and my cab fares.
I opened the cab window and threw all my cards outside, not even thinking twice. They'll freeze it anyway, so what's the point of keeping it?
Leaning on to the rough seat of the cab, I massaged my forehead and tried to calm down.
What now, Lana?
