Sitara heard the voice which was too familiar to her, and licked her lips while gulping hard.
She opened her mouth to say something, but then closed it again after failing in the attempt.
She noticed the silence from the other side, and realized that the person was waiting for her to talk, which finally brought some courage in her!
She took a deep breath, and cleared her throat, "I...I met her today!"
"What she said?!" Rishi asked calmly without any impatience for the girl to open up slowly.
Sitara gathered all her courage before speaking further, "I, Sitara Singhania, was never abandoned! I am no..not someone's illegitimate child, but very much legal..!"
Soft whimpers left from her lips while tears flew out of her eyes nonstop, she finally cried out!
The person on the other side released a sigh, but didn't said anything, nor comforted the girl.
