"Get a shirt," I advise Xavion while hopping down the stairs, Python following.
I jump over a few sleeping bodies to pour Python's food. He slips through everything and hops onto the counter. I pet my cat while he is eating and search for the biggest breakfast.
I'll have to go to the supermarket.
Grabbing my purse, I make my way for the front door, but someone stops me from behind.
"Where are you going, sugar?" he whispers while snaking his arms around my waist and laying his head on my shoulder.
"We need food," I whisper back to not wake the others up.
"They're wolves," I try to make a point, but Xavion doesn't respond. It looks like he fell asleep on my shoulder.
He yawns and nods his head after a while.
"Didn't I tell you to get a shirt?" His only response was to shrug his shoulders.
He mumbles something I can't hear, so I wriggle out of his grasp.
"If you get a shirt, we can go grocery shopping together," I smile as he gets dressed in under a second. I'm also in shock as he did it at an inhuman speed. I try my best not to think of the visible scars on his abdomen.
"I'm ready," he hypes himself up while dragging me with him.
I switch the roles to drag him past the car and towards the train. I want to let go, but Xavion keeps his grip on me, meaning we walk to the train hand in hand.
We arrive and I buy two tickets.
Still hand in hand, we hop on and wait. Xavion rests his head on my shoulder again, but this time more awake.
He doesn't speak as we depart and walk in the direction of the grocery store. I lead him into the store and grab a trolley.
We'll need bread, maybe some sausages and a lot of eggs.
"Don't forget bacon," Xavion smirks and for a second I'm caught off guard.
Then I remember the mind-reading. Got to get used to that.
"Do I have enough money, though?" I question out loud.
"I'll pay," Xavion shows me a wallet he pulled from one of his pockets.
"Great, then I'll take croissants as well," I say determent.
I'm not letting this opportunity go. Xavion on the other hand looks surprised for a moment before regaining his composure.
"Alright then, let's go," we both stroll through the place and grab a lot of food.
An hour later we pay and return to the train with a heavy load.
The fact that Xavion is carrying six out of ten bags along with juice boxes just proves his strength.
We make it back to the cabin, stumbling with all the bags.
"Food!"
"Wait," I shove my hand in a stop motion in front of the eager guy.
"We'll have to make the breakfast first," Xavion takes over the conversation.
"That reminds me, I don't know your names," I say while packing out the food.
"Royce, beta, at your service," the hungry guy speaks up first. He has tanned skin with blond hair and brown eyes.
The guy who accused his alpha of not knowing his mate's name steps up with black hair and brown eyes.
"I'm Jaimeson, Jay for short," he nods his head and plops down on one of the bar stools.
"I'm Jay's sister, Tasia. We are like the Gamma duo, but that doesn't stop me from putting my brother in his place," a girl with long black hair and dark skin waves from the group.
"Eloy, lead warrior, along with some of my best, Imelda, Kao and Finian," a pale guy gestures to a female and two guys. She looks older than the average age of the group but still young and beautiful.
"I'm Rae and I'm here because I have nothing else to do," the girl with pastel blue and purple hair states.
The one known as Finian reacts by hitting her in the back of the head.
"Great, now let's get the food ready," I plead for help.
Imelda, Eloy and Xavion join me, whereas the others either join for conversation or went back to bed.
It takes a while but we get there. Eggs, toast or croissants and bacon with extra sausages and a lot of jam.
"Dig in," I encourage them while Eloy wakes Rae and Tasia up again.
