In the mortal realm of earth in an abandoned town hidden in a mountain. A mysterious old man was in the middle of the abandoned town the old man was holding a teal crystal.
"I hope this works as it will use all the magic I have left"
The man then started to change the crystal into the shape of a sword with a gold and silver coloured handle. After it was made he inserted a ball into the handle the ball, it shined until the old man started to evaporate, his eyes glimmering with hope.
"The person worthy shall save the world and"
His voice went with the wind as he evaporated

When Nate was hiking with his parents for the first time since he's now 7, they came across a cave this cave wasn't one of the caves on the map as they didn't map the entire mountain, even with satellites they aren't able to get every nock and cranny so the family decided on exploring the cave. In the cave they went deeper with their flashlights on they were surprised at how smooth the ground was.
"Honey isn't it weird how smooth the ground is as well as how straight the cave is it's very unnatural"
"I agree darling it's very weird"
His dad said as he felt the wall it was to smooth he thought to himself. Nate was confused as this was his first time he went caving with his parents but he also thought it was different because his parents used to tell him all about how curvy and rough the walls and floor were.
The family continued until there was a wide opening with light blue crystals shining to make the cave as bright as the sky. In the middle of the massive cavern was an abandoned town with fields that should have had crops, but no longer did surrounding the town.
As they walked into the cave until they saw the town.
"Why is there a town here. Although it looks abandoned, why would people want to live in the middle of a mountain. "
Nate was confused what kind of people would live in a mountain.
"I don't know, it could have been monks, but the houses look like regular houses, some even more futuristic than the house in Canada."
His dad look at his mom
"Any idea at all, it's very weird."
"I agree with that, but think about it, the cave or should I say tunnel was smooth and straight, and look at those crystals they are making a natural light. I don't think these are new but how could they have made this in the past."
Nate thought about it for awhile, then said
"Well let's go look around it probably has something cool maybe something futuristic toys to play with."
Nate was about to run of when his mom grabbed his shoulder. He was confused but then realized that it could be dangerous.
"Sorry mom, I forgot it could be dangerous."
"At least you realized let's go, but take it slowly."
"Yes mom."
After walking for 20 minutes, the family arrived at the entrance. Looking around confused, Nate asked.
"Mom why isn't there anybody, it's like a ghost town?"
"I... don't know it looks like people were here, but I hear nothing, which is very weird because there is no dust anywhere I look."
"I agree darling very weird."
Nates father was also confused but because of how advanced everything was. Everything looked like modern mansions, while there is a castle sized mansion by the cave wall at the back of the town.
"Dad I don't think this can be called a town it's as big as Toronto, And Toronto is the capital of Ontario."
"I agree it's very big up close."
"Wait, the mountain wasn't as big as Toronto plus the distance we went in this makes no sense."
I agree mom. Even if it's weird we can't find anything here so let's explore." Nate said as he ran off.
"Nate,stop." His parents said at the same time. He stopped and was embarrassed at doing the same thing he was told not too. Nate's parents looked at each other and laughed at how they were in sync and at how embarrassed Nate was.
'I messed up again.' Nate thought as his parents came over. "So where do we start, the houses, the shops or the centre?"
"I say we start at the centre" his dad said as his mom nodded in agreement.
