"Do it now Em!"
"Not yet!"
"Dammit Em what are you waiting for?! Use it now! We can't hold them any longer!"
"Trust me! Just endure a few more seconds!"
They spat their curses at me but in the end they had given me their complete faith and were choosing to endure the never ending assault. A storming barrage of monster strikes, magical blasts, and exploding streams of heated steam coming from below attacked us.
Through all this insanity I had asked my friends to hold out just a few moments longer. Anyone would've thought me crazy but I finally saw a crucial opening and I had to take advantage of it.
Every eighty seconds the monsters would cluster together in a massive sphere of bodies and protect themselves. Or so it would seem. In reality they would cluster around one particular monster. This happened a couple of times until I made a feint to attack their core.
The protected one hidden away deep inside the cluster.
