The Elder Miss of the Huang Clan, Camilla, appeared to be in a good mood. The intense hatred she once harbored towards Adams seemed to have dissipated.
"You didn't deceive me. You mentioned it's at the foot of the mountain, and indeed, it is. It's just that you're not a member of the Huang Clan," she acknowledged, addressing Adams.
Camilla detested dishonesty, and if Adams had lied, no matter how attractive he was, she would have rejected him. However, given the absence of deception, she seemed willing to forgive other details, including his non-membership in the Huang Clan.
"What clan do you belong to?" Camilla inquired.
"Adams is the Tribe Chief of our Thunder Fire Clan," interjected Percy from the Thunder Fire Clan before Adams could respond.
Adams shot Percy a cold look, feeling that Percy had overstepped his bounds, almost as if betraying the Thunder Fire Clan.
