He suddenly leaned in so close that Su Li's breathing stopped.
Gazing at the perfect face in front of her that quickened her heartbeat, Su Li reflexively dodged backwards.
"What, what do you expect me to do, Wei Chengfeng? You can't possibly want to..."
Wei Chengfeng leaned in, inching closer, "What do you think I'm thinking?"
"You, you, you..." Su Li timidly looked at him, hesitated for a moment, but finally mustered up the courage to say, "You said that we are just nominally husband and wife, that we wouldn't do that sort of thing."
No sooner had her words fallen than Chengfeng's eyes darkened, and his expression turned icy. He moved back, lay down, and said in a deep voice, "Sleep."
Su Li maintained her posture for a while before ultimately lying down obediently on one side and reaching out to turn off the light.
She knew he was angry again.
Yet, even knowing it would upset him, she still had to act this way.
