Su Li decisively hung up the phone, tossed it aside, and then looked at Gu Qinghe with a smile, asking, "Has Grandfather woken up?"
"Yes, Grandfather usually gets up early. He just went out for a walk and came back. He's now in the living room. He was afraid you weren't awake yet and told me not to call you."
Su Li swiftly got out of bed. "Then I'll change my clothes and head over right away."
"Alright, no rush, I'll go out first."
"Hmm."
Su Li changed into a set of casual clothes, then slipped on her slippers and stepped out of the room.
Upon arriving in the living room, she saw Old Master Gu sitting on the sofa reading the newspaper. Su Li immediately ran over, "Grandfather."
Old Master Gu set down the newspaper, took Su Li's hands, and looked her over from head to toe, his eyes full of affection, "Awake? Did you sleep well?"
"Yes, great. Being at home, I obviously slept well." Su Li sat down next to Old Master Gu and asked, "Grandfather, how are you feeling?"
