"Uh, no thank you, I have things to take care of when I get back. It's okay, you can keep the rest for yourself."
Eat together with him?
If Wei Chengfeng found out, there's no telling what kind of trouble that might stir up. He might even turn the tables and accuse her of cheating on him—he'd certainly not spare her from such an insinuation.
Su Li was aware of the stakes, but she hadn't anticipated that Wei Linfeng would become a variable. Even with her tactful rejection, he showed no intention of letting it slide. Grabbing her wrist before she could react, he pulled her back into the elevator.
Once inside the elevator, Wei Linfeng pressed a button and only let go of Su Li's hand after the doors had fully closed.
Su Li was stunned for a moment before coming to her senses, blinking and asking him, "What are you doing?"
With one hand holding the lunch box and the other casually in his pocket, Wei Linfeng gracefully said, "Join me for lunch."
"...I said I'm not eating."
