Wei Chengfeng rarely had time to go out shopping; aside from work-related outings, he would often just stay at home during the weekends.
Now suddenly being dragged out by Su Li to go shopping, he felt somewhat unaccustomed.
"Where do you want to go?"
"To the supermarket, and then maybe wander around other places. You just got me a writing desk, it cannot stay bare on top, right?"
Wei Chengfeng drove the car, his expression growing colder, "Su Li, I don't have the leisure time to accompany you shopping. You can go by yourself if you want to."
Suppressing the urge to roll her eyes, Su Li cajoled in a gentle voice, "I made soup for you, and in exchange, you shop with me. Isn't that a fair trade? Besides, we are an engaged couple. After everything that has happened, who knows what stories are being told about us out there. Going out now to show some affection, that would be nice, wouldn't it?"
Wei Chengfeng scoffed, "You sure have your schemes well thought out."
