Su Li's ears turned red with embarrassment; it was the first time in her twenties that she had felt so mortified.
What about warming the bed?
How had she accidentally blurted out those crazy phrases commonly used online?
"Well, that, I misspoke... just pretend you didn't hear it, okay?"
"I heard it."
"...Can't you just let it go?" Su Li blinked her eyes, her face full of grievance.
Chengfeng looked down at her, tapped her on the head, and said, "There's nothing wrong with being exacting. At the very least, I can assume that by saying that, you mean to suggest that you want to warm my bed for me."
If possible, Su Li truly wished she could spit a mouthful of blood on his face.
"Mr. Wei, you really don't need to think that way, isn't it enough that I admit I was wrong?"
Chengfeng hooked his lips into a smile and asked with a twinkle in his eyes, "So, are you still planning to go back to your place?"
Su Li shook her head, "No, definitely not."
