Xiang Shan was hidden in the shadows. If he still had the corners of his mouth, he probably would have laughed.
The advantages and disadvantages of weak AI were very clear. The strength of weak AI lay in its being cheap and brutally simple. All that was needed was "copy and paste" to swiftly enter any autonomous weapon, and they required no salary, never slept, were never careless, and certainly never betrayed anyone on their own initiative.
For those who controlled many resources, it was a great auxiliary tool.
But on the other hand, once someone figured out the underlying logic of these weak AIs, they were fools, easily deceived.
Xiang Shan had already installed intelligent firearms in some of the civilian buildings. These firearms, however, were not meant for attacking. They merely served to remind the weak AI of the fort, "enemies exist nearby."
After that, the AI would classify all fully cyberized beings wielding weapons as "suspected hostile units."
