When a loud "bang" erupted behind him, Gleayard realized that he might be finished.
Xiang Shan's speed was just slightly slower than the speed of sound. By the time the sound reached his auditory sensors, Gleayard had no time to react.
Suddenly, a machine gun behind Gleayard raised its head. Xiang Shan extended his hands, grabbed the gun's muzzle, then used the force to his advantage. The gun spat flames, but the bullets only grazed past Xiang Shan.
Seizing the opportunity, Xiang Shan's legs moved like the wind, kicking the machine gun to pieces.
Gleayard let out a tiger's roar, and a slot opened above his treads, ejecting a cylindrical bomb.
Xiang Shan saw the bomb and wanted to retreat immediately. But his reason quickly overpowered his instinct.
Gleayard's head was right between Xiang Shan and the "bomb." If it was indeed a bomb powerful enough to harm Xiang Shan, then Gleayard would suffer even more from it.
