Chapter 55 - Epilogue

There was scratching... Very loud scratching none the less, as it seemed like some one was having a bit of an anxiety attack at the exact same time as well. It was a bit dark in the room, what ever room that it was, that this dragon was in at this very moment in time, but it was clear that the dragon was scratching her claws across the dirt, as it was clear that she was quite a bit freaked out about all of this, and all that was going on right now.

She had been told what had happened, as she was a bit worried as to what it was that she even was going to say to the entire tribe. Well she knew that she was not going to be the one that was going to be speaking, luckily enough for her, but she was not all too sure as to how the tribe was going to react to what it was that they were about to be told in the first place.

She was already ready to hide what it was that Jangra had told her as soon as they had got back from where it was that they had gone in the first place, simply to protect her best friend, and the leader of her tribe none the less, from the attack that he would for sure get as soon as the tribe found out the news as to what it was that had happened when he had gone out to go and meet up with all of the leader of the other red dragon tribes.

Well... He had got to meet them of course, but that was before Jangra had gone with him. She was so freaked out as soon as she had been told the news about what had happened, as she was not all too sure as to how all of them had even got out of it fine and dandy in the first place any ways, as she knew that Jangra after all, was the dragon of destiny, and if they had in fact been caught by Plyma, surely he would have tried to kill Jangra right?

That was not the case at all how ever, as all that she had been told up to this point, was simply that Plyma had not know just who it was that Jangra was, as Himla had his the fact that he had another son from Plyma, after the prophecy of the dragon of destiny had been told to him by the old Oracle Dragon that had passed away, shortly after telling him about his son.

She knew that he was a bit freaked out about all of it, and she really did not blame him all too much for it, as she too had a son at one point, and if she had known that his life was at risk, than she too would be doing her best to try to protect him. She wished that she could have just done better than what it was that she had done to protect her son, as in the end, her son had died due to the hands of Plymas father.

Himla was good friends with her son, as it was a lot of the reason that he had chose her to be the deputy of the tribe, as he knew her quite a bit well too, and he trusted her a lot... At least, a lot more than he trusted any other dragon that he knew at this point, as she knew that he felt quite a bit betrayed by the fact that Plyma had once been his best friend, and he had started a war with him, and killed one of his sons, and many other dragons in his tribe.

Socra let out quite a bit of a sigh all at once how ever, as she shook off all of those thoughts at the exact same time too, as she felt like they really did not matter all too much to her at this very moment in time, if she was going to be completely honest with her self. She simply was just waiting for Himla to walk in to the cave that she was in right now, to tell her as to what it was that had happened at that place just a few days ago.

All that she knew so far, was simply the fact that Plyma had been there, and he had challenged Himla to a duel to the death. Himla had in fact won the duel, but for some odd reason, as she had been told by an angry Jangra, that Himla had not killed Plyma, as she knew just as well as Jangra, that it would have meant the end of the war, and it would all be over just like that.

Socra sighed to her self, as she did her best to shake off all of those thoughts all at once how ever, as she felt like she should not have her head trapped in it so much right now, as she knew that she would get all of the answers that she needed, from Himla, not too long from now, as she simply was just waiting for him to join her in the cave, so that he could tell her the full story of how it had happened.

Socra was a bit upset that he had not killed Plyma, as she was fairly certain that he had not killed him, due to the fact that they had used to be friends, as it seemed like he had all of the sudden forgot as to the fact that Plyma had led to the death of so many innocent dragons. Dragons and humans for that matter... Socra dipped her head a bit low to the ground all at once at the exact same time too, as she then began to hear the paw steps of Himla, as she heard him walking in to the cave with her.

Socra, for some odd reason or another felt like she could not keep her head held high for her friend, as if it was her that did not have the will to kill Plyma, rather than it had been him that had chose not to do so. Socra did her best to shake off all of those thoughts all at once how ever, at the exact same time too, as she then all of the sudden, began to hear all of the paw steps stop.

Socra lifted her head up, to look in to the eyes of the dragon that was in front of her, as she saw that it was in fact her best friend. She saw that her best friend had tears in his eyes, as it was clear that he was in a lot of pain. Socra was doing her best not to share the pain that he was feeling right now with her self, though at the exact same time too, she too once had also trusted Plyma a fair amount her self.

Socra shook off all of those thoughts all at once how ever, as she knew that it did not matter at all to her any ways, as she knew that she no longer trusted that snake of a dragon any more, as she kept her eyes on Himla, as she could tell that Himla was doing his best to stay strong for her. Socra was a bit lost by all of it, as it did not seem like he had any sort of guilt on his face at all.

That was the look that she had expected to see from him, but that was not the look that she saw in his eyes at all, which did in fact confuse her quite a bit none the less, as she tilted her head over at her friend, a little bit lost as to what it was that was going on with him at this very moment in time. It was clear that he was in pain, but maybe he was not in pain for the reason that she might have expected.

Socra let out quite a loud sigh all at once, as she then all of the sudden then nodded to Himla, to let him know that she was about to speak to him in the first place as well. Himla blinked his eyes at her, but in the end, he did in fact nod back to her, to let her know that it was safe for her to speak. Socra felt a bit safer now that she knew that, as she did in fact begin to speak to Himla, as Himla did in fact listen as to what it was that she had to say to him in the first place any ways.

"Himla... Why did you not do it? It was your chance to end the war... It could all be over by now..." She said, as she stopped her self at the exact same time too, as she felt like she did not want to be pushing her friend all too much at the exact same time as well, as she dipped her head a little bit low to the ground, and she sighed to her self all of the sudden at the exact same time as well, as she now felt like the one that was the guilty subject all of the sudden.

It did not seem like Himla was upset about it at all how ever, luckily enough for her, as it was Himla's turn to let out a bit of a sigh to him self all of the sudden, as he had heard ever word that it was that his friend, and his deputy had just said to him in the first place. There was a part of him that did in fact feel a little bit guilty about all of it, but at the exact same time too, he also knew that it was not really his fault either.

He was more just in pain, as he knew that he had a chance to end all of it, but it now was starting to make sense to him as to why it was that he could not do as such a thing, as it now was starting to make sense to him, as to why the dragon of destiny had been made in the first place. He knew all of it was all real, as it was all really starting to line up for him all at once, all of the sudden as well.

It had to be Jangra... He knew that Plyma was stronger than he had ever been, as he simply had been playing around with Himla, to make it seem like he was weak, when he knew that he was not at all. Plyma knew exact what it was that he had done... He had broke just about every single rule that the dragons had in the first place, and it made him feel quite a bit sick.

Jangra... He knew he was stronger than Himla was at his age, but at the same time too, he also knew that Jangra was far too young, and he really did not want him to get in to a fight with a dragon nearly as strong as Plyma was. He still had doubts about the dragon of destiny thing, even though he was fairly certain at this point that it had to be true, as it was seeming to work together ever so perfectly.

Himla shook his head all at once how ever, as he did his best to get his mind, and his focus off all of those thoughts all at once, as he then all of the sudden looked up at Socra, and he stared at her right in to her eyes. Socra did not seem to budge one bit, just as she usually did not, due to the fact that she was such a strong dragon, not just in the physical aspect, but also in the mental aspect too, as he knew that she had helped him through so much through out the hundreds of years they had been together.

Himla knew that he had to tell her about it... He did not want to tell his son, as he knew that it would simply only make him even more stressed out, and even more freaked out about the fact that he was going to have to be the one that was going to kill Plyma. He all of the sudden shook off all of those thoughts how ever, as he knew that he had to keep his focus on Socra.

He stared right back at Socra for quite a bit of some time, as in the end, he did in fact nod to her, to let her know that he was about to speak to her. Socra blinked her eyes a few times at him, bit in the end, she did in fact nod right back over to him, to let him know that he was safe to speak, which of course he did in fact do as such a thing, as Socra did in fact, of course, listen as to what it was that he had to say.

"He broke the rules... He has a spell on me... I can't kill him... It has to be Jangra..."
