There are only three horses. Ping'an and Guo Baiyu is riding one horse. Zhao Renshu and Hu Qingge is riding one horse. The Xiao sisters is riding the last horse. After a half of day on horseback, the group came to a crossroads. Zhao Renshu stopped his horse.
Xiao Hui asked, "Why do you stop?"
Zhao Renshu sighed and said, "None of your business."
Guo Baiyu asked, "Since we are here, do you want to visit her?"
Ping'an nodded.
Guo Baiyu said, "Renshu, Peace Town."
The group turned right and they were heading toward Peace Town. The familiar road. This was the road that five years ago, she met Gou Baiyu. She hugged Gou Baiyu's tightly.
When Ping'an heard the evening bell, it reminded her of when she used to clean the local temple. Most of the time, she would go alone, but sometimes, Xiong Grandma would go with her. Xiong Grandma would sit under the tree and listen to the morning prayers of the monks. When the sun goes down, she will carry Xiong Grandma on her back, and they will walked down the the two hundred steps.
When the lover passed the small pavilion by the roadside, it reminded Ping'an of the time she and Xiong Grandma usually rest in the old pavilion. Ping'an always knew that Xiong Grandma was afraid that she would be tired after coming down from the local temple, so she always told Ping'an that she was tired and asked them to rest.
When they approached the town, Ping'an recalled where she met Guo Baiyu for the first time on the same dirt road. She was minding her own business and she didn't even know that someone was walking the same way as her until the white boots approached her and asked her for directions. She held Guo Baiyu tightly.
Ping'an said, "Baiyu, this is the place where we meet."
Guo Baiyu smiled slightly and said, "You didn't even notice that I was walking behind you. Until I approached you and asked for directions."
Ping'an looked at Zhao Renshu and said, "Renshu, Baiyu and I met here."
Zhao Renshu grinned, "Mm..."
Ping'an wondered if she did not meet Guo Baiyu that day, maybe now he will still be the young master and heir to the Guo family's fortune. Maybe he already married lady Wu and even had children, but she met him on this road that day, and his life changed from being the most respected family member to someone the Guo family refused to recognize. Everything Guo Baiyu had worked so hard to accomplished was destroyed in an blink of a eyes because of her. This thought hurt her heart deeply. The tears she shed soaked Guo Baiyu's robe.
Guo Baiyu knows that Ping'an has always felt guilty inside. She always blamed herself for causing Guo Baiyu to leave everything behind. He comforted her, "Don't cry. Do you have those regretful moments again?"
Ping'an said, "Baiyu, if I am stronger or pretend that I am not so hurt. You will still stay with your family. You don't have to be a wandering hunter with Renshu and me."
Guo Baiyu held Ping'an's left hand tightly and said, "I am not a wandering hunter. We have a home, and our home has a name."
Ping'an said, "Living on the mountain is not as comfortable as living in Guo Manor."
Guo Baiyu replied, "The soft bed in Guo Manor is not as comfortable as when I lie on the hard bamboo bed next to you." He scoffed and said, "Ping'an, don't regret it, because I have no regrets."
Ping'an asked, "Do you really speak from the bottom of your heart?"
Guo Baiyu replied, "I speak from the bottom of my heart."
They did not enter the town, but separated from the main road and entered a dirt road. After half of hour they saw a tomb by the tree.
Zhao Renshu said, "We are here."
Xiao Hui asked, "Tomb?" Why?"
Zhao Renshu, "This has nothing to do with you."
A small butterfly flew towards Xiao Hui, and landed on her open palm for a moment, and then the butterfly flew away.
Xiao Hui said, "Renshu, we must leave. Father asked us to go back. There seems to be a problem."
Xiao Dan asked, "What is it?"
Xiao Hui said, "Other subordinates want to surrender to the wolf clan."
Xiao Dan, "Those old fools."
Zhao Renshu handed Xiao Hui a paper talisman. He smiled at the two sisters and said, "When you need us, please call for us."
Xiao Hui said in her sexy voice, "Umm...I can't be your wife, but it's good enough to be your friend."
Zhao Renshu's right arm rested on Xiao Hui's shoulder. He teased, "You are too beautiful for me."
Xiao Hui giggled and said, "Anyway, you are too handsome for me."
Zhao Renshu smiled at the two Xiao sisters and said, "Good luck sisters."
Ping'an looked at the Xiao sisters and said, "Be careful."
Guo Baiyu nodded to the two sisters, "Until next time."
The Xiao sisters turned into their true form, the two white foxes ran away, and they left the lovers behind with Hu Qingge.
Guo Baiyu reached into the bag and took out nine incenses. Hu Qingge didn't want to go, so she stayed behind with the horses. The lovers walked to the grave of Xiong Grandma. Boss Xiong had done a great job keeping Xiong Grandma's grave tidy. Zhao Renshu summoned a fire talisman and burned the incenses. Zhao Renshu gave each one of them three incenses. The lovers respectively paid tribute to Xiong Grandma.
Guo Baiyu said, "It looks like it's going to rain."
Zhao Renshu, "Let's rest in town tonight, and we will part away tomorrow. Earlier tomorrow. We don't need to let anyone know."
Ping'an, "Renshu..."
Zhao Renshu, "Ping'an listen, I can't fix her. No matter how clear my words are, she didn't listen to what I said." Zhao Renshu felt frustrated. "If I can avoid her, then I will avoid her. I have drawn a line between her and me. I have nothing to say or persuade her."
Ping'an, "I understand."

Guo Baiyu said, "Let's go to town. We rest for one night and leave tomorrow morning."
