The moment Adarian left the room Olivia groaned and covered her face with her hands. This was too embarrassing. How was she supposed to act in front of everyone now? They opened the door, and saw her and Adarian messing around like that, and then he...Kissed her. Why did he KISS her!? Now she was too conscious of every move he made during breakfast, and she knew she was acting weird but she just couldn't help it.
Fredericka looked at the blushing girl in front of her and was astonished. Was it so embarrassing to be caught in bed with her own husband? Fredericka smiled at the blushing girl, she decided to see if she could help his cousin out with her.
"Why are you so embarrassed this morning?" Fredericka asked, still smiling.
Olivia looked at Lady Lowenheim whose eyes were glowing with gossip. This was too embarrassing for a woman of her age to be acting like this! But she really needed someone to talk this out with. Olivia looked at Fredericka, and exclaimed like a teenage girl, "He kissed me!"
Fredericka laughed and thought, 'Is that all?' "Haven't you kissed before?" she said incredulously.
Olivia looked so scandalized to be talking about this, but she continued on, ahs really needed to talk to someone. She shook her head and then spoke, "He's kissed my forehead, and I've kissed his cheeks, but… this time it was on the lips!" She looked a little excited as she blushed and said, "Freddie, he used his tongue!"
The Ladies were so engrossed in their gossip that they didn't hear someone knock at the door. They didn't even notice that Davier the guard had opened the door and let in the designer. He walked in and the first thing he heard was "He used his tongue."
Fredericka paused and asked incredulously, "Wait? Is that as far as you've gone?"
Fredericka sat up, and asked, "What about that first night you spent together. ..The night of the Ball?"
Oliva looked down and admitted, "I had an allergic reaction to something that was put in my drink, so I was sick with a fever the whole night, and I had hives all over my face. He made NanNan stay and watch over my bedside the entire night. So… Nothing happened." Olivia looked up at Fredericka who looked completely shocked.
"But you guys have been sleeping in the same bed since he brought you to the castle! There's been nothing?" Fredericka couldn't believe her ears.
"I know!" Olivia exclaimed. "I thought he was being a gentleman. But ...then I wondered if he doesn't think I'm attractive? Especially after the fever and hives. Plus he always sees me in embarrassing situations." Olivia looked a little troubled, "Do you think he's not attracted to me? Am I not his type?"
She ignored Olivia's trepidation and got to the heart of the matter, "Then what about this morning?" Fredericka felt like she was on the brink of a startling discovery.
"Oh, that," Olivia let a breath out of her nose and looked up, then she looked back at Freddie sitting there like a puppy waiting for its master excitedly at the door. She explained, "We were messing around, I pretended I stole his nose and she chased me down to get it back. He kissed me after we were interrupted by the guard." Olivia covered her face and cried out, "What does that even mean!? Why did he kiss me? It was so romantic my heart almost jumped out of my throat!"
The designer who had been setting up and listening to the gossip going on in the background. He had seen the future queens anxiousness at not being attractive enough to the king. Looking at her he thought to himself that if she wasn't attractive, no one else on this planet could ever dream of being attractive either. He realized just how true the rumors were of his majesty's love for Lady Olivia Praxis. "If I may interject," the designer said, handing a booklet to each of the ladies, "perhaps his majesty is waiting for you to be married before going further than a kiss?"
Lady Lowenheim "…"
Olivia "…"
"Oh my god you're right!?" Fredicka Lowenheim who had been on the brink of an epiphany before looked at the designer like he was a genius. "I think he's been in love with her this whole time!"
"No he hasn't!" Olivia exclaimed. She didn't even know why she was denying it or if it could possibly be true, she was just too embarrassed right now. When did this random guy even enter the room!?
The designer chuckled a bit, "Well only is majesty would know for sure about that. But If your Highness is ready then we can get started on our consultation for today. I really hope you take a liking to my creations." He clasped his hands together as he looked proudly down at his booklets.
"...Right," Olivia said as she looked down at the book he had given her. Olivia looked up at the setup that the designer had completed while she had been talking to Freddie. Ten dresses lined the room on little stands. "Your highness," He gestured to the first dress. He had gotten the measurements from her previous designer, so they should fit her properly.
Olivia looked before her eyes and was a little shocked. When had this man had the time to make this many dresses for Olivia? She had only just moved into the castle about nine days ago right? Was that even enough time to make ten of these dresses?
Olivia took the first dress into the wardrobe room that she only now realized connected into the king's bedroom. It had all of her clothing and things. Her belongings still didn't even take up half the closet. She had been calling it a walk-in closet inside her heart the entire time. But it truly was an entire room that could contain enough clothing to fill an entire boutique. She had never even noticed the door inside the wardrobe room because it blended into the wall way too well. Why did Adarian never tell her that this room connected to her own bedroom? She honestly should have realized it on her own though. In all those movies about times when husbands and wives shared different rooms, they always had adjoining rooms didn't they?
Fredericka helped her with the first dress, it was just a day dress, but as it was designed for the queen to wear it was extravagant. She stepped out for the designer to look at his handiwork. NanNan who had just come in looked stunned. Olivia looked regal and very much like a queen as she stood in the dress.
"It fits really well," Olivia looked up at the designer. "How did you know what size to make it, Mr...?"
The designer looked at Olivia like she was silly, "Lunceford, Of course I got your measurements from Madam Clarise." He had seen the way the king had carried the Eldest Lady Praxis out of the Ball that night and his passion for womens clothing had been ignited once more. Lady Olivia and King Adarian made such a pretty picture together. He got Lady Olivia's measurements that very night.
Olivia tried on dress after dress. It was like some type of dress montage. She began to sing 'I'm too sexy for my hat' in her head. Olivia felt like she was doing a fashion show, and at one point even walked like she was on the catwalk. She just did it for kicks, but the reaction that the designer had made her realize that she had accidentally revealed too much about herself.
"What was that walk!?" He asked excitedly. "Show me how you did that!?" The walk exuded confidence, and was something he had never really seen before. Then when she turned and showed off the dress! How did she know how to do that!? This was perfect!
"It's a- It's- It's a walk I made up," Olivia said embarrassed. "I was starting to have a lot of fun and wanted to show off the dress you made." She really couldn't believe she did that. She hadn't tried to walk like that since she was really young.
"Do that with the next one!"
