[September 23th]
In a large mansion, you could hear the sounds of elegant music and the heels hitting the floor while people were dancing.
In the crowd, a spot where several people were gathered drew attention. In it, the person everyone focused on was not the elegant couple in the center of the circle, but rather, unexpectedly, a small girl with black hair.
This girl was the protagonist of this birthday party, which looked more like a big ball of the upper class society. Her name, Yaoyorozu Momo.
What seemed like endless conversation finally stopped when a beautiful silver-haired woman came in with a girl who appeared to be her miniature version and a boy who could only be described as adorable.
When they took a step forward, others took a step back and so, like Moses opening the Red Sea, the trio made their way towards the pair of parents and daughter.
As soon as they reached their destination, the woman greeted the couple.
"It's been a while, Mr. and Mrs. Yaoyorozu."
Upon hearing her old friend speak so formally to her, the birthday girl's mother couldn't help herself and gave a little laugh.
"Pfft, that way of talking doesn't really suit you Saki-chan."
The woman, also called Suzuha Saki, was insulted when she heard that phrase.
"Hey, I don't want to hear that from you. I'm being polite okay? Unlike a certain person, I know how to act properly depending on the situation I find myself in. Humph! "
The two friends looked at each other and started to laugh after this little discussion that was already like a ritual that they did whenever they met.
"Pfftt. Ahahhahaha! I really missed you, it's been a long time. "
Seeing her mother act so childishly for the first time, the pair of siblings who accompanied her were slightly stunned.
"Wow, I didn't know that mommy could act that way. Big sister, do you think we can make her smile like that at home too? "
"Hmm. It will probably be impossible with that tramp there. "
"Ah! You can't call Dad that way, if he finds out he'll try to hit you again. "
"It's not like I'm lying. He doesn't work, he doesn't cook, every day he goes to that lover's house and spends Mom's money. When he rarely comes home, he is drunk, he has violent tendencies and he takes more money from us. He's worse than a parasite. I'm being merciful in calling him just a tramp. "
"But..."
"That's enough, you were the only one who heard me call him that way and you won't tell anyone, right?"
"O-of course not !!"
"Then fine. Come on, we still need to greet Mom's friends. "
"Okay!"
