"Did you somehow develop feelings for the Prince at some point in time?" Leah came out clean with her claims.
Camille blinked a few times, zoning out with the preposterous accusation, before it turned into a dry laughter.
This made Leah question her notion, was she wrong? But why would she believe he wasn't dead, even when the King, Curtis and Maelin think otherwise and though they had witnessed this themselves.
"Was I wrong?" Leah timidly voiced out.
"Yes." Camille replied with a soft yet authoritative voice.
She didn't hide her feelings, was she really close to the Prince for her actions to be misconstrued?
"I guess I should be disillusioned now." Leah rolled her eyes, before turning to look at Camille.
"There's no need to be overdramatic about it." Camille said in a reassuring tone, pulling Leah closer to herself.
"I know it's hard to accept death, I don't know how I can, but I'm not heartbroken over Mill." Camille explained, her voice right next to Leah's ear.
