Everyone in the room was stunned, the only one who looked like he had a normal reaction was Mill and Aria. They had temporarily forgotten about King Zane's earlier confession, the tension in the air apparent.
"I- I-" Maelin struggled to make her voice strong, she didn't want to talk about him, she knew what would happen to her, just like she had seen in the past few days.
"Maelin, do not speak." Aria frowned, she had witnessed first hand what happens if Maelin should reveal anything that is delicate to her knowledge.
Mill laughed, a ratatat sound of laughter came from his stomach, Maelin looked at him with disdain, in a way he had been looking at Aria.
"Please come and join us." Liam bowed and waved his hand towards the guests, he didn't want to get too close to her.
