Stiffly turning his head, he finally got a better view of who had spoken earlier.
"Liam?" He looked at the cocky smile which graced his features. "What are you doing here, out in the open?" He hissed.
"The duty I was asked to do by your late father, the King; made me anxious so I had to make sure you were alright, because of umm... you know." He coughed on the last part, using his chin to signal the direction of King Zane's Chambers.
"You almost scared me!" Prince Mill held onto his chest, steadying his breathing, "You have been stalking me this whole time?"
"I umm, I am deeply sorry m..." He dropped to his knees as a sharp pain shot through his chest, stopping him from completing his sentence.
"Shhh!" Prince Mill squeezed onto a ruby. "We wouldn't want to give ourselves away now would we? Anyone could be listening, the walls do have ears they say. Do not call me that or follow me within castle grounds." He warned.
"Yes! m..." Liam's eyes widened at the slip he had nearly made.
