°How could I have been so blind to what was going on?° Princess Aria stormed her way through the hallways.
"Aria!" Lady Leah exclaimed, "What happened back there?" She sensed the discomfort and anger seething off her.
"Your dear King is alright." Princess Aria said through gritted teeth, "Please do let Curtis know about this."
"I was asking about you." Lady Leah replied in a whisper as she played with her fingers.
Those seemingly simple words melted whatever anger and self loathe she had stored in her heart.
"Leah, I appreciate your concern for me." Princess Aria began, pulling her into a hug but stylishly whispering in her ear: "Lately I have been feeling, all I ever was and still am to those who connived in bringing me here as nothing more than a ploy to get something from me, once that is over I would be discarded like a play thing." She heaved a sigh.
