During the prehistoric era, there were six realms in the cosmology namely, jungle, heavenly, hell, ocean, insect and mortal. Among all these realms, the three superior realms are heavenly, hell, and ocean. The insect, mortal and jungle realms worshiped the superior realms.
A dense and rain-drenched jungle of Fern Mountain is a beautiful landscape filled with endless boundaries and ruckus melodic. Various animals and plant species occupied the mystical verdure.
In this jungle realm, several dens crafted with round shapes doors emerged on the crest of the grassy hills. Near the dens, they have built several watermills attached to the crystal-clear stream.
The first rays from the rising sun beamed through the jungle. All animals gathered in the stream. They shoot their tongues with a blinding speed towards the stream to drink water. Crocodiles, the toothy torpedoes sometimes appeared half-sunken in the stream to give them a peekaboo!
Monkey swinging and the snakes crawling around the trees. The birds are chirping in the blue sky. Many other animals are galloping around the fields. Most inhabitants live close together with friendly neighbours and nasty co-tenants.
Asuna came out from her den. Walking towards the edge of the cliff and stood tall. Flaunting her white silky long gown and wearing a flower crown on her head.
A gust of wind blows through her, lifting her long silky hair. She raised both her hands towards the sky to greet the jungle animals. When the animals sensed her presence, they turned their heads to look up at the cliff and bowed at the goddess of the jungle to give their respect.
A reflection of dream appeared on her mind, makes her body trembled. Asuna has a special ability to predict the future and the prediction usually appeared in her dreams. Recently, she kept having nightmare. A bleak prophecy of her son turning into a demon god and the immortals will work together to demolish him.
Not far from her, a gigantic wolf narrowed her eyes as she spotted Asuna. A ferocious roar sounded and gave her a startled. Asuna turned her head to look. A gust of smoke encircling the wolf, "POOF!". It transformed into a beautiful lady, Rachel.
Rachel is the queen of the jungle. Her family is from the wolf clan and her father is the leader of the clan. Since she was born in the jungle, she was raised by the jungle animals. They showered her with abundance of love. At anytime, she can always visit all the animals dens to play with them.
She had pair of adorable eyes, long brown hair braided with a wolf ear headband, rosy cheek, tall and petite. Unlike all other princesses and queens, she doesn't like to wear skirts. She often wears a folk-dance costume set that comes with a top and pants.
Rachel laughed when Asuna's reaction amused her, but she immediately stopped laughing when she saw her eyes brimmed with tears.
"What's wrong, Asuna? Are you alright?" Rachel asked. She put her hand around Asuna's shoulder and rubbed her tears from her face. Her instinct told her Asuna had a new prediction, and it doesn't seem good to her. Now, Rachel looked at her, perplexed, and observed the fear on her face.
Asuna forced herself to focus. She is pondering and caressing her baby bump. She hugged Rachel and confessed to her about her worries. "There is a possibility my son will turn into a demon god."
Rachel gasped and gulped. This is absolutely devastating to know. Asuna will give birth to the future king of the jungle realm, and if he turns into a demon god, what will happen to the jungle realm in the future?
Asuna made a decision to invoke a shield to hide the whole jungle, but this will cost her 25,000 years of energy she cultivated.
When an immortal loses their cultivated energy, they will become fragile and lose their magical powers. The other way round, if an immortal has increased their cultivated energy, it will upgrade their magical powers and they will become stronger.
She raised her hands to the sky. It creates an invisible ray, big enough to cover the whole jungle. This ray will shield the jungle from the sight of outsiders.
After consuming half of the energy, she cultivated, she crumpled on the ground in weakness. Rachel quickly lifted her and brought her back to the den.
"Listen carefully, Rachel. The heavenly realm, the hell realm, and the ocean realm will definitely demolish my son. I have just shielded the jungle." Asuna explained to Rachel. She grabbed Rachel's hand and said, "In case something happened to me in the future, please make sure my boy will never leave the jungle."
The animals felt strange energy flowing in the jungle. They guessed something dreadful might have happened. They began to become concerned, the clan leaders strolling towards Asuna's den, and they gathered outside her den.
Luffa, the monkey lord knocked on the door from the outside and Rachel opened it from the inside. They both looked at each other in confusion. Luffa noticed Rachel was acting strange, and Rachel wondered why the animals gathered in front of Asuna's den.
The jungle animals bowed at Rachel to give their respect to the queen of the jungle. Rachel greeted them back with a bow. She asked, "What are you all doing here?"
"We noticed strange energy in the jungle. We come here to ask Mother Nature about it!" Luffa responded and scratched his head.
Rachel realized the shield had covered the main jungle trails, making the jungle animals confused. She nodded sincerely. She raised her index finger towards her lips, hinting them to keep silent. Luffa entered the den together with Rachel and Mao, the tiger king. They looked at the weak body of Asuna resting on the bed.
Mao the tiger king is a tall and good-looking man. He has a special ability to detect the energy strength of every immortal, and he could also tell the weakness of the immortal.
Luffa is a short, hairy, and petite man. He is intelligent and most of the jungle animals will come to him to get his advice.
For ease of communication with each other in the jungle, they will transform into human beings.
Mao quickly grabbed her hand to check her pulse. He detected from her pulse that she had lost half of her energy. A minute later, he put down her hand gently on the bed. "She needs to recuperate her energy. Let us go back and wait for her to recover." Mao said in a soft tone.
Luffa got perplexed. Something must have gone terribly wrong? The tiger king usually speaks loudly, but now he speaks in a soft tone. He saw Mao walking out from the den. He followed him, walking slowly behind him. He stopped at the door and turned his head to look at Rachel. He walked towards her, grabbed her wrist and dragged her out from the den.
She gasped in shock. "Tsk! Tsk! Why are you pulling out here for? Asuna needs someone to look after her!" She swung her hand as hard as she could to get rid of Luffa's hand from grabbing her wrist.
Luffa gave a serious stare towards Rachel. "I am sure Asuna must have told you about her prediction. Tell us!"
Moa looked at Rachel and nodded in agreement with Luffa. Meanwhile, Rachel returned the glare towards them as if she wanted to chew them out. She was reluctant to speak at first, but when she noticed all the jungle animals gave her a fierce stare. "Alright, alright! She told me about her prediction. Her son will turn into a demon god and the immortals will demolish him."
They all got shocked. Luffa asked, "Did I hear you right? Asuna's son will turn into a demon god? The immortals will demolish him?"
Moa used his elbow to nudge on Luffa, "I thought I misheard. But I heard the same too."
Rachel nodded and sighed. She said, "Yes. That's what I just said. I do not know what to do apart from accompanying her." She pointed at the half missing jungle trail. "Half of her energy had gone because she used them to invoke a shield to hide the whole jungle."
Hearing that, all of them stood frozen. Looked at one another. Luffa and Moa smacked their forehead with their palms. "Oh, my! Oh my! Stranded in the jungle now, aren't we?"
"For crying out loud! We can still travel in and out of the jungle. Just like we usually do. With the shield, the outsider will never find us." Rachel said. She pats on Mao's shoulder with her left hand and pat on Luffa's shoulder with her right hand. "Asuna predicted something could happen to her, and she wants us to make sure her son will never leave the jungle."
Their hearts fell to their feet. They grew concerned towards Asuna. Why did Asuna shield the jungle? What happened to her? Will Ahmed turn into a demon god? Plenty of questions, but no one could answer.
Nevertheless, they continued to keep their faith in Asuna. They looked forward to seeing the baby. Monkey clan made a baby crib for Asuna. The other animals made some clothes for the baby. Abel, the rat master, is a medical expert. He brewed some tonic for Asuna.
