Without asking, Evanna knew there would be a good reason behind Arawn's lies. Most likely to protect her. Balin had yet to see her with her hood pulled down, so he believed her to be an elf.
She did not wait to listen to the rest of their conversation, though. Ronan needed treatment. He needed at least two days' rest. Even then, would he be strong enough to continue?
Evanna didn't want to put pressure on her friend to continue. But she couldn't let him stay in these lands by himself.
"*You worry too much,*" Garrett said, watching her from the window he stood in front of, arms crossed, looking stern. "*You can heal him, your highness.*"
Evanna frowned at that as she approached Ronan's side. "*I do not know-*"
"Do not play dumb. It does not suit you," Garrett's tone and words caused Ger and Axel to glance between them warily.
