Evanna didn't move as he took her chin in his fingers and kissed her softly once more. Her body flushed with heat, her mind dizzy from the taste of his lips. But all too soon, the prince pulled away and started to guide her towards the lake. The water was clearer than she expected and the fog hovering over it revealed the iciness of the water.
It made the princess pause for a moment, her doubts about their next steps bubbling to the surface. Not because she didn't want Arawn's touch but because of how cold the lake looked. How did the others bathe in this!?
