Dressed and clean, Ger told Axel and Ronan what happened to him, including the part about this curse and what he was. The pair were blown away, staring at him like he was some sort of god.

Ger grimaced at the voice in his mind. It had only spoken to him a few times so far, but every time made him feel closer to losing his sanity. Was this all real? Or was it some sort of afterlife?
Those thoughts only flurried through his mind over the course of a second as he stared back at his friends on the sofa in the small living quarters adjoined to the guest room Axel was staying in. Once he saw Ronan and Axel's faces again, he was reminded that this was all real.
