They set off again with full bellies and Arawn and Evanna ahead of the rest, following the trail. Where before the path had been going up an ongoing hill, it was now flat, the fields bare, skies white and grey. The grass gradually started to become solid, crunching beneath their feet.
Evanna glanced at the ground and back to Arawn, who had been watching her. She blinked up at him, wondering what he was thinking. Instead of his usual stoic and emotionless self, the prince was looking at her with warmth, melting the iciness usually surrounding him. He even seemed more approachable to others, that was. Evanna had been approaching him for some time now.
"Have you ever seen snow before?" Arawn questioned.
Evanna shook her head. "Only in a dream," she trailed off, remembering the dream she first shared with her mother at the beginning of this quest.
