-The month of Wynnethel, the 1st, year ATC 3,527-
Completely dumbfounded, without much of the past conversation registering, Ila'Mu puts her left hand out, palm up while still looking at him blankly, caught completely unprepared by this. Strange Duon male, whom she had been told her entire existence were the more barbaric counterpart of a much less-evolved species to the North.
This.. This piece of craftsmanship he had made without forge, in mere minutes, for, it surely was of a craftsman level, by Elvi standards even if it were low quality, was astounding and breaking the preconceived notions her Mother's doctrine had implanted upon her and her species as a whole.
As her mouth hung open staring at him as he drops the ring into her open palm, only snapping out of her daze as she hears the commotion of Dark Duons making their way towards the bedroom from the hallway. Picking the roughly made ring in her left hand she marveled at both it's simplicity and intrinsic beauty before slipping it onto the middle finger of her right hand. She could feel the ring mold around her finger, shaping itself perfectly around the finger regardless of where it sat, giving her the second shock that he was actually able to blend his late wife's Heart-Core with. what was this..
"Sterling.. ?" The word subconsciously left her lips as she continued to watch the reflections of the Ring on her finger in the moonlight.
"Pure Brass, actually. I find it to be one of the most conductive metals for the different Majites that one can make. Now, I need you to tap into the ring to gain the slightest touch of Wind, since you won't be able to manage much more than that. Don't worry about the descent, I will help guide you down", he responded hurriedly.
Looking up into his face with shock in her eyes, she nodded quickly, realizing that the reality of the moment had too much going on to further question what he was saying. Even if what he was saying was not what was taught to the Elvi population, her Mother must know this as truth, atleast.
Without letting her thoughts wander much further she did as he instructed, reaching out the the vibrant, almost living-seeming, ring. As she did so she could feel the flow of elements ebbing and flowing around her, a light smile crossing her lips. The dancing silvery-blue Wind element waves, overlaying the windcurrents as she looked out over the edge of the balcony, the earthy green veins of the Earth element pulsating throughout the mountain the palace was built into.
"This." Her voice filled with awe, "Is both so very amazing and overestimating", by the end of her sentence she was squinting her eyes along with rubbing her temple.
Heiracles chuckled lightly, "Yes, it certainly can be... Now, I need you to use your natural Mana, while simultaneously manipulating the winds to glide down to the city below. Don't worry, I might not be a natural talent with Wind, but I've had plenty of time to build up my mastery." An almost cocky looking grin pulled one corner of his mouth up, but the mirth of his words never reached his eyes.
Taking a deep breath in and out about three times, she replies, "Okay, let's do this. I guess we'll just have to trust ourselves into your hands then, Prince Tir'Helion.", before curtsying awkwardly and moving towards the railing and pulling herself up onto the edge she hesitated.
Walking to the railing himself, Heiracles placed his hands onto the railing before looking over at her from the corner of his eyes.
"Call me Heira. Heiracles Tir'Helion died in this place from grief with his wife and child when he learned that they both had passed in the night."
The nearby heat felt like it was literally pulled out of the atmosphere, coalescing in his open palm as a compact ball of raging flames that went from orange to blue quickly. Icicles started forming on both of them before he fired that destructive ball into what was once the bedroom his previous 'self', the son of an Ex-communicated King, that he shared once upon a time with his wife and child.
"There. That should give us enough time to get us out of the city in safety.."
Gazing into, or though, those flames, Ila couldn't decide, she watched him before he shook his head briefly and looked over at her. "So, are we ready for an adventure.. ?"
