Staring at the screen I was lost in thought. In my hand, a pitch-black ring sat. Dark wisps of energy floating of fading into the air. Not considering for long, I quickly pushed the ring onto my thumb clicking bind. The dark tendrils seemed to flow into my thumb the ring leaving a tattoo in its wake. Staring at my thumb now with a tattoo ring at its base mesmerized by the scene. The possibilities were endless with the clown. How did it look? Did it replicate me perfectly? Pluss the additional hidden abilities made it obvious for me to bind it. Staring into space I was awoken by a loud chiming. Both me and Jack grasping our weapons ready for battle.

Chucking the red stone in my inventory disappointed by the lack of rewards I noticed a soft glow emanating from the chest of the Boss. A red glow embracing the surrounding area in warmth stayed unmoving on the creature's chest. Pulling the stone I was rewarded with a prompt.

Seeing my first skill I was overcome with greed, however, the earlier ring an unexpected boon calmed my greed menagerie allowing me to build the courage and give it to Jack.
"Hey bro you take this. Its called fireball and since you seem good at throwing stuff with your lanky arms it should suit you"
Covering my pain of the lost skill by insulting my brother I noticed a wide grin smeared across his face threatening to rip his mouth open. I obviously didn't tell him about the ring. That was a secret just for me.
"Don't mind if I do. Since when were you such a loving brother"
I retorted quickly.
"You're my Big brother of course I love you. As they say elders first"
I smiled maniacally at him getting a shrug of delight in response. Don't get me wrong I love my family a lot, even my brother. Also, the skill perfectly suited his pyrokinetic tendencies and his stat points geared to a mage build. With my stronger stats, I fought at the front and the fact that chanting seemed necessary would be a hindrance. Now I got free support fire.
We quickly left the building which threatened to collapse thanks to the recent antics. Jack thought it was a good idea to test the spell within the already broken building, getting a groan of pain from the wood in response. It took us 20 minutes to arrive home, the lack of monsters proving helpful. Once we arrived home, other than our parent's worried looks and questions we sat waiting for the remaining time on the counter to elapse. I took the time to go through my stats.

Looking over my stats, glad that the titles were having a significant effect, I moved to look at the bonded section. Seeing the screen it seemed I could only bind 4 items in total. Looking over the ring once again I was overcome by ecstasy at the sheer abilities of the ring. It may not boost my attack or any of my stats but 5 extra abilities the could grow weren't disappointing. As if on cue to the current quiet atmosphere a loud voice bellowed seeming to cover the world.
