[ Sylviane | Spirit Realm ]
Ever since he made a contract with me, I've always been ready to answer his summons but he has not summoned me even once. I've done nothing but watch as he studies, plays and eat... I'm bored. Now that I think of it, its been 3 years since I last went out of the city on my own accord. Getting off of my bed, I prepared to head out.
Opening the system console, I equipped a cloak, a pair of leather shoes, played around with my appearance a bit using magic and left a note behind. I then opened a portal and teleported near the Emrite Empire.
[ Human Realm // Emrite Empire ]
This is quite the difference in environment. The difference between the spirit realm and the slums of the empire is like night and day. So this is what an actual slum feels like. I noticed a few eyes but I walked out ignoring them.
[ Spirit Realm ]
"I'm going to the human realm for a bit. Don't come looking for me. I'll be back in a few days."
Why is this world so unfair to me?!! According to the oracle, my next visit to the human world will be in a couple hundred years... I couldn't help but sigh.
[ Human Realm // Emrite Empire ]
I spent the past 3 hours exploring this town and am currently lost... I was looking around and noticed someone walk up to me. I faced towards that direction to see a young man with light blonde hair and green eyes. He was also wearing a robe so I couldn't tell his status. Before I could ask him for directions he opened his mouth.
「Excuse me, are you lost?」 he said.
「As embarrassing as it is, yes.」 I replied.
We had a small conversation after that and I had to use a fake location. Since he said that he would visit me, I bought that place. Luckily, I don't think I will be running out of money anytime soon. The fact that people all over this world use the same currency is really convenient. I don't have to do something as bothersome as converting currency.
We would often meet but I still do not know much about him other than the fact that he was raised well, in other words, he's an aristocrat.
「I will be gone for a few weeks or months.」 He said all of a sudden completely ruining the peaceful mood.
「Is that so..」 I replied.
「Ah! I'll also be gone for a while. Anymore and my sister might just never let me leave.」 I added.
「When will you back?」 He asked.
「I don't know. We might never meet again or we might meet in an unfavorable setting.」 I casually said without realizing how big of a flag it was.

The next day, I did not see him. I had accumulated some basic intel thanks to him. I could've gotten it with the help of Albert but he never summoned me till the end of my vacation. I ended up staying for 39 days in the Empire before returning to the Spirit Realm.
[ Spirit Realm ]
I returned to my home only to find my sister sad and depressed in a corner of the room.
「Did you have nothing better to do? Why don't you just forcefully create a contract?」 I asked.
「I could but it would reduce my lifespan, meaning I wouldn't get to eat more..」 she answered in a tone that made her previous mood seem like a joke.
「I am amazed at the sheer amount of mood swings you have a day.」 I replied.
「So, how as your trip to the Human Realm?」 she asked with a hint of jealousy.
「The food was really good, its such a shame that you decided to stay cooped up in this place and wait till the foretold prophecy~」 I said teasingly.
「But seriously though, it was quite boring and plain.」 I added.
「Is that so? You should've gone to that old man's restaurant, oh wait, does it still exist?」 she replied.
「Curse you Hero! Thanks to you, all she thinks of is food.」 I muttered under my breath completely unaware to the consequences.
I felt a bit nauseous for a second before everything went back to normal. We then had a long conversation as usual.
[ Human Realm, 6 days in the future ]
'Ahh! Seriously! Why is my luck so bad this week?' I screamed in my mind while running away from a Minotaur.
[ Sylviane ]
I had just finished redecorating my room and before I could drown myself in the sense of satisfaction, I got force teleported to an arena.
「Was it you who summoned me?」 I asked recognizing the familiar presence.
「Yes, we are supposed to train our magic based abilities for the upcoming tournament.」 He replied.
「So then, what do you want me to do?」 I replied.
「Today is the selection rounds, we will be fighting other students.」 I was left speechless for a couple of seconds.
「Is it fine if they die?」was the reply I gave to break the silence.
「No, of course not!」he answered.
I had accumulated only 321 levels since the time I came to this world. One of the reason I didn't level up much was because of the fact that my equipment was enough to overcome the gap of 50 levels. And leveling up wasn't that rewarding, certainly the base level up status points are higher but the damage taken by everything in this world is greatly reduced. If I were to fire an explosive spell back on Earth, it would've destroyed three buildings and set fire to some but in this world, it takes 3 of those spells to defeat a crocodile monster and the explosion radius is smaller.
We were discussing about our potential battle strategies and I had bought some lower level equipment to make sure that I don't kill them on accident.
