MELLISSA'S POV
Today is Milli's birthday and luckily it's a weekend , so I woke up early to prepare a small surprise for Milli and then I went to take a bath and went to Milli's room to wake her up, ''wake up birthday girl'', '' ohhh !!! go away'' she complained, ''no , no baby sis, wake up or i'm goin to pour water on you'', I warned her , '' okay , okay I'm up bully'' she said.
After wakin Milli up, I went downstairs to wait for Nia to come so we could surprise Milli, after a few min of waitin for Nia, there was a knock on the door and when I opened hopin it was Nia , I met the devil himself , it was my dad with a gift bag , he acted all nice and happy like nothing happened , I let him go inside and my sister came downstairs and you could see that she is not comfortable,then my dad made it clear that today is a special day there ain't no violence but deep down I knew if something happened we are as good as dead but we hope for the best there is nothing we can do.
after what seemed like forever Nia came along and we celebrated Milli's birthday she was happy for the surprise I made for her , my dad bought a cake and we cut it and ate and we decide to netflix and chill, with my dad , crazy right... I can imagine, you are thinkin that we are stupid to think that my dad is sincere but today he sure is sincere , he even hugged us and gave Milli and I a forehead kiss 'wonderul' , I thought to myself.
My dad started askin us question, and when we asked why does he suddenly wanna know how we are doin and what not , for a moment I thought he changed until Milli brang up the issue that two men came to our house a week ago looking for him, the inner dragon was woken up and it got bad for us , my dad chased Nia away and told her to come tomorrow but I knew better , if he chased Nia away we are goin to be beaten up , I messaged my sister and told her to tell my dad she's goin to the bathroom and never come back but I told her not to mention that she ain't coming back , my dad allowed her to go and I got a chance to run upstairs and got to my sister's room on time and we locked the door and went out the house through the window and we headed to Nia's place on our way to Nia's place we met Liam, the hottest guy in school and he stopped us and asked us where are we goin to at this time of the night and I had no choice but to tell him then he took us to the nearest police station and and we reported my dad for child abuse.
