Jaz's P.O.V.
I was woken up by Kurt and Blaine shaking me and I groaned. I checked my phone and it read six am. I suddenly realized that it was the first day of school for me. I'm starting a month late by who cares? I got up and choose what to wear today. I choose leggings and a t-shirt which I wore a cardigan over because it was freezing. I wen downstairs where Blaine was making breakfast and Kurt was sitting and reading the newspaper. Kurt smiled at me and patted the chair next to him.
"Good morning princess." He says
"Good morning Kurt." I said
"You hungry?" Blaine asked handing me a plate of pancakes, bacon, and eggs.
"Thanks Blaine." I said
"Are you ready to start middle school?" Asked Kurt
"I guess so I'm kind of nervous. At least I get to see Ella today." I smiled
"Yeah we're sorry you haven't got to see the girls since you got adopted." Blaine said
"It's fine." I said
I have lived with Kurt and Blaine for a while and it has been amazing. They are both very nice and I feel like they were meant to be my parents. They're the parents that I never had. Kurt was really good at giving advice to me and was really fun to be around.Blaine was really good at cooking and can be really funny and serious when he needed to be. I loved both of them and I knew that this is where I belong. I also got to meet Rachel and we are very close now. She's a role model for me and we do everything together. I'm glad that I have someone like her in my life.
"Come on we'll be late." I said putting my converse on and grabbing my bag
"Haha alright lets go." Kurt said grabbing his keys
When we arrived to Las Angeles Middle School we got out of the car and we went our way to the principals office. There was not a lot of students here yet which is good because we would be stopped if there were any fans out. The inside of the middle school was huge and there three floors so I knew that I was going to take some time getting used to this.We entered the main office and the guided to the principals office.
"Hi i'm Miss Rose you must be Jasmine." The lady said
"Hi I perfer Jaz." I said
"Alright then so you'll be starting sixth grade?" She asked
"Um yes." I said
"Well you're going to have fun here heres your schedule." She said
"Thanks." I said and I left
"Bye Jaz we'll pick you up at the orphanage after." Kurt said
"Alright bye." I said
I got out the main office looking at mu schedule super confused. How was I going to find my classes? I never had multiple classes a day and that was going to take some getting used to and never been in a school with three floors since the elementary school had only one. I sat at a bench looking sad. I want to go home but I knew I couldn't.
"Hey are you lost?" Asked a curly red haired girl
"Yeah it's my first day and I don't know where my classes are or where my locker is." I said
"Let me see you schedule and you locker number" She said as I handed them to her.
"I'm Jaz." I said
"Hey I'm Lena looks like we have the same classes and our lockers are next are next to each other." She said
"Wow." I said
"We should go class will start soon." She said taking my hand
We went up the stairs to the second floor and there were a lot of classes everywhere I looked. How were we going to see where our classes were? It was so confusing. Lockers were right next to each other as well on each side of the walls and they looked the same tome. Lena stopped at one locker and told me that my locker was on her right. I entered the combination and it opened right away and I was shocked. I put my bag in it and grabbed the stuff I needed for the first few classes.
We entered our homeroom and there where some familiar faces and mostly new ones. One face in particular shocked me and I knew it was Ella.
"ELLA!" I screamed and she smiled and we hugged. It was so good that I finally saw her after not seeing her for two months.
"Oh my god I missed you!" She said after we hugged
"Same Kurt and Blaine decided that I wasn't ready for middle school just yet so I started today." I said
"Daisy and Lizzy will be excited to hear you started today." She said
"I'm walking with you to the orphanage and Kurt and Blaine will pick me up." I said
"Sweet we'll stop at the elementary school to pick them up since Gwen won't get out till later." She said
"Yay I can't wait." I said
"Okay class get into your seats." The teacher said I sat next to Lena.
"Looks like we have a new student joining us today. Why don't you introduce yourself" The teacher said
"Hi i'm Jasmine Anderson. I prefer to be called Jaz. I'm adopted by Kurt and Blaine Anderson. I like drawing and animals." I said returning to me seat.
The rest of the day went smoothly. I just followed Lena everywhere. I was glad that I made friends with her or else I would be so lost. She was so nice and we got to know each other all day by talking. I even sat with Lena and Ella at lunch which Lena and Ella were already friends. The classes were so easy as well and I got some homework which I didn't mind. Ella was in a few of my classes as well. The hardest class was probably gym which the teacher was strict and I have no athletic bone in my body. When the bell rang for the end of school I waited outside for Ella since she has a different class than I do. Once she came we started walking toward to the elementary school which was just a block from the middle school. We got there before the bell rang so we waited outside of school . When the bell rang all the students ran out of the school to catch their buses and greet their parents. When Daisy and Lizzy came out they ran to me when they saw me and hugged me.
"Hi Jaz!" They both said
"Hey girls how was school today?" I asked
"Great!" They both said
"Well we should be going to the orphanage Sophie is waiting for us." Ella said taking Lizzy's hand
"Why are you here? Did Kurt and Blaine send you back to the orphanage?" Daisy asked taking my hand
"No I started school today and they're picking me up at the orphanage." I replied
"Oh."Daisy said looking sad
"I almost forgot. There's a new orphan at the orphanage she's only a baby." Ella said
"Really?" I asked I love babies
"Yeah she's so cute!" Daisy said
'I bet she is. How old is she?" I asked
"15 months I think." Ella said
We talked for the rest of the walk and were laughing as well. There's never a dull moment with these girls. I missed them so much and want to see them more often. When we got to the orphanage Ella opened the door and Sophie was there trying to get a baby to sleep. Ella took her off her arms and went upstairs to put her in her crib. Sophie saw me and she hugged me.
"How are you?" She asked
"I'm good you?" I asked
"Busy Hazel is keeping me on my toes." She said addressing the baby
"Haha I bet. Kurt and Blaine are amazing parents." I said
"I bet they are ." She said
"Okay she's asleep." Ella said
"Good. You girls hungry?" and we nodded
The door opened and Gwen came in. She looked so much different then I last saw her two months ago. Her hair was dyed blue and she was wearing clothes that I never imaged her wearing. I guess high school really pressures you to be more cool than you are. She saw me and hugged me.
"Hey girl." She said
"Hey." I said
"Hows life living with Kurt and Blaine?" She asked
"It's amazing they are really great parents." I said
"I bet they are you are really lucky." She said
"I know I never imagine that I would get adopted by them." I said
Sophie gave us a plate of cookies and we ate them all. I guess we were more hungry then we thought we were and we laughed. Ella and I started doing homework in the living room and we were helping Lizzy and Daisy with theres as well. Gwen did her homework in the kitchen. After homework we were talking and playing quietly with Lizzy and Gwen since Hazel was still sleeping. Hazel then woke up and Sophie asked me if I wanted to go up with her to get Hazel and of course I sad yes. Hazel was standing in her crib and Sophie picked her up. Hazel wanted me to hold her which I was surprised. I held her as we went down stairs and then she became the center of attention with all of us. We were playing with her and walking with her. The doorbell rang which I figured were Kurt and Blaine and I was right.
"Hey girls." Blaine said
"Hey." We all said
"Wow looks like we got a new addition to the orphanage." Kurt said knelling down to playing with Hazel
"Yeah her name is Hazel!" Daisy said
"Oh really." Blaine said knelling down as well
"Ready to go Jaz?" Kurt said after a few minutes
"Yeah." I said grabbing my bag and then put my converse on
"Bye Jaz see you tomorrow." Ella said
"Bye Jaz I hope you can come soon!" Daisy said hugging me
"Same Daisy." I said
When we got back to the house there was a box in the living room. Kurt and Blaine said that the box was for me. I got excited because I love presents. I opened the lid up and this puppy came out I cried when I saw him. I picked him the dog licked my face and I laughed at that. I always wanted to have a dog and now I finally have one.
"He's yours. What are you going to name him." Asked Kurt knelling down next to me to pet the dog.
"I think i'll name him Hunter!" I said
"Hunter it is then." Blaine said petting Hunter as well
"Thank you guys." I said putting Hunter down and hugging Kurt and Blaine
"No problem princess." Kurt said
"Anything for you." Blaine said
"You guys are really the best parents ever." I said
