Chapter 2 - [Chapter 2#]

On the day I broke up with Sarasa-san, I stayed at a hotel before heading to college.

However, my steps were heavy.

Because it's the same college my ex-girlfriend also goes to.

And since we were in the same department, there was a high chance that we would bump into each other.

It would have been fine if I had taken a day off, but I wanted to score marks, so I had to go.

"I'm really lazy..."

I walked towards the main gate, complaining.

I couldn't believe my eyes, Sarasa-san was standing at the main gate.

She seemed to be waiting for someone, but it didn't matter to me.

Because I had already broken up with her.

I didn't look at Sarasa-san at all and quickly passed through the main gate.

"Ah, Shoryu-kun!"

I heard a voice calling me, but I ignored it,

If I get involved, I will definitely get into trouble.

Besides, I have nothing for me to say.

"Wait! Wait!"

There's no need to wait. Just ignore her.

I couldn't afford to get caught, so I never looked back and ran away.

"I'm not going to let you get away with this…."

****

I walked into the lecture room, and as I scurried around to sit at my desk, I saw a person next to me, and I didn't hesitate to go to her.

It's a great way to get to know your fellow students.

"Hey, you still look as lethargic as ever, Kurusu-san."

"Hmm~? Oh, good morning, Kakeru-kun. It's none of my business, but you've got dark circles under the eyes. Lack of sleep?"

The name of this girl who speaks in a lethargic Kyoto dialect is Mone Kurusu.

She had been a friend of mine since high school.

We're complete opposites in looks and personality, but for some reason, we've always been good friends and have the same interests.

We used to hang out together a lot but after I started dating Sarasa-san, we barely kept in touch.

However, it might have been a long time since we talked alone like this, though, since Sarasa-san's been getting in my way a lot lately.

In that sense as well, I'm glad I broke up with her.

"No, actually, I didn't get much sleep last night."

"Hmm, what were you doing? You were watching pornographic videos and DVDs, weren't you? Kakeru-san is very active.

"That's not true! I haven't watched anything like that since Sarasa-san forbade me."

Sarasa-san wouldn't let me kiss her or have s*x with her, but she also forbade me to watch porn or sexually explicit videos.

Because of that, I had a lot of stress over there and I was in trouble.

Well, now I can watch them without worry.

"What about your girlfriend? Isn't she with you? That's unusual. Is it okay to talk to me? Won't she get mad?"

Perhaps it was because I hadn't spoken properly in a long time, but Kurusu-san was in a strangely good mood and spoke eloquently.

It's a rare thing for me to see her like that.

She's my best friend and I don't want to misunderstand so it's best to tell her the truth.

"No, actually..."

"Shoryu-kun. Who are you talking to?"

Suddenly, I heard a voice from behind me.

As I'm quite familiar with this voice, I don't need to check.

It is Sarasa-san.

As we were in the same department, we had to share the same lecture room, but I didn't understand why she went out of her way to talk to me after we broke up.

"Who gave you permission to talk to that woman? And why do you block my number? I can't contact you, so unblock it now."

Even though we broke up, Sarasa-san still showed her arrogance and selfishness.

The people around me were also looking at me in confusion at this situation because she was nice to everyone around her but cold to me.

The one who is most confused is Kurusu-san, though. It's a rare sight, and it's a little comforting.

She continued, "Don't ignore me, answer me!"

As l was still ignoring her, Sarasa-san kicked the chair I was sitting on.

She seemed to be very annoyed.

But I still don't want to get involved.

"Um, he's...? Don't be so angry. Sure, you might not like he is talking to me, but...".

"What are you talking about? Shut up, you outsider. I'm asking Shoryu-kun.

No, you are the one who is an outsider!

As expected, I was annoyed by Sarasa-san's attitude of kicking me out of her care. and she didn't even stop after Kurusu-san's attempt to appease her.

Letting out a sigh, I stood up.

I didn't want to see Sarasa's face, but I had to face her to settle the matter properly.

"You've finally decided to listen to me. You're such a blockhead! Apologize to me now. Apologize for what you said to me, for ignoring my orders and talking to that woman, for blocking my contact. Apologize for everything. Of course, I'll forgive you if you get down on your knees."

Right, I knew this girl was no good.

She's got a twisted personality.

The kind, cheerful, supportive girlfriend that she used to be is nowhere to be found, and this girl now looks like an irreverent, haughty, arrogant, cruel jerk.

I'll have to settle this properly.

"... That's enough."

"What did you just say? I couldn't hear you because your voice was too low. You're a man, so speak up, you piece of shit."

I said, "Enough!"

I shouted so loudly that even I was surprised, and Kurusu-san and the others in the lecture room rolled their eyes and looked at me.

"Eh?..Shoryu-kun??"

For some reason, Sarasa-san's face turned pale, even though it was her who told me to speak up.

Maybe she was surprised because I shouted, which I usually don't do.

But It didn't stop shutting her mouth.

"Sarasa-san! You and I have broken up! Leave me alone already! For God's sake stay out of my life!"

"Wow...but I won't let  you break up with me!"

"Shut up! I don't like your arrogance and coldness! I mean, I hate everything about you!"

"You hate me….? No, you're lying, right?"

"I'm not lying!.. If you understand don't ever get involved with me again!"

I vent out all of my feelings which I accumulated so far and turned my face away from Sarasa-san and sat down on the chair again.

"I'm sorry, Kurusu-san. Let's get along. "

"Eh!...? Oh, I didn't know that you broke up. Sure, sure, but..."

Although Kurusu-san was flustered at being asked to talk out of the blue, she was still a good friend who was still willing to talk to me.

I continued to ignore my ex-girlfriend's existence and resumed talking with Kurusu-san.

"Why do you...hate me... you're lying... , that's not true... absolutely not true…. Oh, I see… it's all that woman's fault… I'll never forgive her… I'll absolutely never forgive her... "

Sarasa-san was mumbling something behind me, but it didn't matter to me right now.

So, I completely ignored her.

Sarasa-san strolled out of the lecture room with her face turned down and her steps were unsteady.

I don't know whether she's skipping class or leaving early, but it doesn't matter to me since I'm not interested in it at all.

"Are you sure about this? I feel a little bit sorry for her..."

"It's okay, I was at the end of my patience. Above all, it's true that I broke up with her."

"Well... you broke up with her. I see…"

"Yeah..."

When I see Kurusu-san smiling somewhat happily, I got a little nervous.

I'm not sure what to say, but I oddly felt uncomfortable in this situation.

Did I say something strange? But I'm only telling the truth….
