Leng Jun was ecstatic to observe that the dormant spirit of Chuchu appeared to have become more powerful within him. Chuchu's soul had become translucent when he assisted him in becoming a hybrid elemental, and it had become nearly transparent when he shielded him from the hazardous purplish black power that the unidentified God had given him. Given how that power behaved, Chuchu believed that it had to be a malevolent one.
Chuchu's nearly transparent soul is now gradually becoming a more solid tint. It has returned to its translucent hue. Maybe his Chuchu could actually wake up if he consumed more of that energy orb. Leng Jun was filled with hope just by considering this possibility. This was sufficient evidence in and of itself to convince him that whatever he was doing at the time, good or bad, could save Chuchu.
