It was a time of great peril. The world had been at war for 7 years. Arcium had decent into a rival war against Brakum. It wasn't necessarily the first this had happened, in 1564 the 2 families began fighting and soon were brought to a truce by a tragedy. Then again in 1873 this time between the 2 clans which ended in 1901 after Garelium had been caught in the crossfire and wiped from the surface of the world. This lead to the creation of Arcium and Brakum, 1 country destroyed by 2 families and now dissected into there own countries. This then leads to 2014, the start of the Arcio-Brako war. The 3rd war, the trilogy of wars.
We begin on the 3rd of September 2014, 3 days before the outbreak. The biggest deal was about to take place. With the joining of Arcium and Brakum, together they would rebirth Garelium under the new name, Garcum.
General Gargoan walked with his group of 4 troopers down the neon green corridor, on there way to the centre spire. The centre spire was the only building shared by the 2 families. It was at the centre of there walls built to stop intruders. The spire only opened on the 8th of March to allow trade deals but could be opened by the leaders if needed. The general and his men entered through the door and into the levitator.
They began to rise into the room, ready with there deal.
"Remember troopers, there meant to be accepting this deal, but we suspect they won't, be prepared!" General Gargoan exclaimed
"Acknowledged!" His men replied.
The Brakum were notorious for deceiving people, always laying down betrayal. The men at the time didn't know this, but that was once again happening.
The levitation pad arrived at the top of the spire, there was General Borgaiam. He was already sitting at the purple table with his gun set down to his left. He had 2 more guards stationed around the walls with SMGs loaded and ready. His guards took to the walls cautious of what could happen. Gargoan walked to his chair, Borgaiam gestured to take a seat, he took out his pistol and placed it to his left. The negotiations were now underway.

It's been over a year since I first wrote this rendition of the first episode. I personally like the subtle world building and development this small piece makes. However, it really doesn't stand up to the quality of Pritchard or the original Fantasy Battle. I also really hate the idea of the actual universe having guns. It's sort of taking Fantasy, ripping it up and then spelling Modern with the scraps. However, Pritchard does explore alternate universes so perhaps this universe could be developed down the line.
