"Easy there," Mai said from his side as she came down from the carriage to help him, "You shouldn't even be moving right now. I know I wouldn't be able to if I took all the punishment you had"
She watched as Jin smiled at her before he stood straight and walked away from her hold, towards where many other gladiators were gathered. She folded her hands under her chest and shivered in the night cold.
There was nothing to be seen on all sides of their current location, nothing but arid, dry land. This, combined with the fact that they were downhill made the breeze flow especially cold here.
'I wish I brought a coat' she thought.
"Here you go," a voice said just before draping a long coat around her shoulders.
