He forced his hand up against the lightning, straining to keep it away from his body.

A black circle opened on his hand and covered him from the lightning. Quinn strained to stand up, holding the circle above his head like an umbrella.

The circle widened and began sucking in the lightning, drawing it into the darkness. After a while, the lightning stopped and Quinn twisted his hand in the air, turning the circle around.

A large bolt of lightning flew out of the hole and Quinn smiled sadistically as he watched it engulf all the Hakeem's in the sky.
He dispelled the spell and jumped into the sky after the lightning.
