Light footsteps.
Labored breaths.
"Cough! Cough!"
Nash grunted as he finally got to a metal door and banged it open. He pushed his way in tiredly and slammed it shut behind him.
"It chose him" he growled while slowly taking off his jacket, and then his shirt. Beneath it was a cut that ran deep into his side, a keepsake from his tussle with Jin, "I can't believe it just 'chose' him."
He looked towards a med-kit at the side and it levitated towards him slowly.
"No pain"
He opened the med-kit, brought out a bottle, and he hissed while pressing the alcohol into his wound.
"No pledge of allegiance"
He threaded a needle and began sewing up the wound. Slowly, meticulously, painfully.
"No price to be paid!?"
He dragged the thread taut and cut it off at the end before using a rag to clean the wound and standing up. His face held a glare as he walked up to the cloth rack and picked up a new robe.
