Quinn opened his eyes to the sight of an unlit fireplace. The sunlight peaked in from the cave entrance, giving the cave a warm feeling.
He sat up and looked towards the merchant he had allowed to stay the night.
The man was sitting at the entrance of the cave where he was meant to be keeping watch, but by the that his head kept dropping and how his entire body seemed ready to fall over, he was dead tired.
Quinn sighed at the sight - the man hadn't even been keeping watch for three hours. Quinn had done most of the watching last night, and when he had woken the man to switch, it was basically morning already.
He walked over to Patrick and kicked him on the foot
"Get up already, you've been sleeping for hours"
"Wha-! Wha-! Where am I?!"
Patrick looked sharply as he tried to get himself awake again before he turned to the scowling face of Quinn and quickly sobered up.
"Oh... I fell asleep, didn't I?"
