Well, at least I know that for now, I won't have any problem financial problems….
I teleported myself up the valley towards the road and sit on a nearby rock while waiting for the driver to arrive…..I stare at my surroundings, and nothing seems to come to mind… well maybe I don't frequently visit her….with the exhaustion I managed to doze off, and suddenly I hear honking. Finally, the driver arrived…. ACT NORMAL.... can I really do that though?... well we'll see...
Summoning the last drop of stamina and with the help of magic to dampen the pain, I manage to walk normally towards the white taxi which is waiting for me just a few meters away from where I was.
As I enter the passenger seat, I hear a cordial voice saying "So where do you want to go" I then reply "Good Sir, my destination is 110, Cardinal Street, Alberta"….. then I hear him laughing…. (what did I do wrong????) ….. The driver then replies "haha I haven't heard such formal ancient words since the middle ages… Bahahaha I am assuming that you are not from around here…. Ahahahahah you can just speak plain English if you like" and then I knew it….I have already screwed up…how the heck did I speak his language when I was 100% sure I was speaking plain English...what the heck is my brain doing!!!
For now, I will just shut up and let him drive me to my destination…. Hopefully, without making a fool of myself in the process.
Well, time flies by when you nap in a taxi so…..finally, I arrived at my destination and managed to drag my ass at the doorstep of my alleged apartment complex….. let's cross fingers and dive in my little bag ow wonders to find the key...YESSS!! I found it... I enter the apartment complex's common area, enter the lift, and instinctively I press 5….. so I guess I live at the penthouse ….. nice.… I grab the key and try and open the door….. woohoo it's open!!!
I quickly close the door behind me and enter my apartment.
The apartment looks like a normal penthouse with some plants on the terrace and seems like it was recently used…. So I guess It has not been that long since I left here to meet my doom….. hopefully here I will find some clue concerning my identity.
But that will have to wait for tomorrow….. as I desperately need to wash and SLEEP… I NEED SLEEP...
So I go to the bedroom automatically grab a change of clothes and take a shower…..obviously while continuously using mana to not faint from the painful leg in the process….well, the shower was divine…. afterwards, I go outside to look at the mirror to see why the blessed leg is hurting so much....and when I have a look at it ….I see a freaken 20 cm gash on my shin with exposure of the muscle and which is now bleeding…..as I idiotically used scalding water to wash...
Well…. I survived till now I guess I will bandage it and sleep for tonight …..I am too tired to go to the hospital now….and let's face it…. With all the strange things I can do I doubt wheatear I can actually go to the hospital...what if they find I am not normal….mmm not a good idea at least till I know more about myself…..
I thus disinfect the wound and bandage it as tight as a can to stop the bleeding but not the circulation and go to sleep…. I did a pretty good job at bandaging, and so so I am now assuming that I am a person who has a dangerous job and hurts herself a lot...I only hope that tomorrow is a better day...Hopefully, I have a goodnight's rest, and tomorrow I will start exploring the apartment for some clues.
