I've been roaming the entire forest for nearly an hour, and I still can't figure out the way out of here.
My dear old friend, Sabrina, left me here without saying goodbye. I don't know if she's mad about me because of something, or she just wants to leave me here all alone.
Either way, I would also leave her here if she was with me right now.
But the thing is that I don't know where I am right now. I don't even know what time is it because it the tall trees cover up the sky, and it's too difficult to determine what time is. I glanced at my wrist watch which is useless because it broke right on the spot.
I notice something weird...the time...it seems to...stop? I don't know..
I rewind some things that happened...around 1pm me and Sabrina started to hike up the mountain. And at 1:24pm, we arrived at the top so quickly. We decided to go back down at around 1:45pm. And that's when things started to get really weird.
We kept hearing these whispers but we know that we're the only people in that forest. The wind is also a little aggressive, making the tall trees move a bit which is frightening to experience. And that's where Sabrina decided to take another path, and obviously I followed her. But she walks more faster than I do, and I didn't catch up to her.
I just want to slap myself for the realization that Sabrina left me here because it's a 'plot' the entire time. And no, me and Sabrina are never friends.
Anyways, my wrist watch seems to stop. Stoping at 2:01pm, the same time I noticed that Sabrina left me behind. But I shrug it off thinking that it was just coincidence. That my watch's battery must have been acting up and decided to give up.
"Great. Stuck in a forest. No food. No idea what time is it since my watch broke," I whispered to myself and sat down under the largest tree I have seen so far. "I hope mom doesn't panic when she realizes that Sabrina abandoned me,"
I sighed once again, thinking that the sun may set any time soon and I'll be freezing to death later on. Just about I was going to lose faith, I heard the whispers again. But this time, it's much more clearer. And I can hear the words that it's trying to form.
This is not your typical whisper. It's the wind whispering.
"Amareese...,"
I heard it whispered my name. Honestly, it freaks me out a little bit. I mean, I'm in the middle of a forest and I started hearing someone whispering my name. Creepy right?
"Hello?," I called out, hoping that someone might answer back. "I swear Sabrina if this is a sick prank...you're dead,"
I started walking around in circles. In hopes to find that 'whisper'. But I guess I was right. It seems like the wind is the one who is whispering my name.
"Follow me..," I then noticed what seems to be a red butterfly, flying on top of my head.
I wanna slap myself again for imagining things. But I soon realize that it wasn't my imagination. It's actually real. And guess what...a butterfly smiled at me. IT FREAKIN' SMILED AT ME!!
It started to fly away, and I followed it. It doesn't fly too high nor too low, just right above my average height. I was paying attention on where the butterfly is heading. All I know is I need to follow it. It's like there's a gut inside me telling me that I need to follow this insect for a reason.
And sure enough, I wasn't paying attention on where I was stepping. Because the next I know if that I feel into a ditch, hitting my head on a rock and passing out. But before I closed my eyes, I noticed that my necklace is starting to glow. The outline of the necklace is getting brighter and brighter.
But because of the impact of my head, I blocked out before I could even see what the hell is going on.
