The taxi stopped, the two walks out from the taxi. Rey drag his sister to the restaurant because he can see that his sister was still hesitant. Bella complied, but she is still hesitant.
Rey ordered seafood while Bella ordered beef steak. Rey ordered another serving because he could see that her sister still wants more. The two finished their meal soon and Bella was really satisfied. 'The food was really good here.' The waiter bring the bill and Bella shocked by the number.
'1300 dollar!' Bella cried in her heart. She subconsciously looking at his brother. She saw her brother took out his card and give it to the waiter. 'Why was he so calm? It was more than ¼ of their father salary for a month!'
"Brother.." Bella hesitantly asked.
"Didn't I say that I had a job?"
"Yes, but.. that's…" Bella wanted to say. 'That is 1300 dollar, you know! You would be smacked by father if he founds about it'
"It's fine" The waiter has comeback with Rey's card. Rey take the card and drag his sister again, leaving their previous table. "Let's go."
"Home?"
"No."
"Eh?" Rey stopped a taxi and told the driver. "Zach District!" The driver nodded and then drive the car. Bella was stunned. 'Why would he bring me to that district? Could it be.. he wants to show where he works? Yes, that must be it.' Bella has concluded Rey's reason in her thought.
Zach District was one of the famous districts in Republic of Dawn. This district was the most expensive shopping area in D City. Its location was strategist, at the center of the city.
The two were not talking in the taxi. Rey plays his phone while Bella was immersed in her thought. The taxi was silent. Even the driver feels strange about his taxi's atmosphere at this moment.
The taxi stopped at the main road near the Zack District. The two walked out once more.
"So, where is the place, brother?"
"What place?"
"Your workplace, of course. You want to show it to me, right?"
"My workplace isn't here."
"But why you bring me here?"
"Does not you know this place?"
"Of course. As a woman, how could I not know the Zack District. The most expensive place for shopping in D City. I have heard from my friend that the clothes here was the best among the best. They also said that…."
"Stop." Rey interrupted. He was feeling dizzy listening to his sister 'speech'. "Let's go!" Rey commanded. He drags his sister again.
"Brother why would we go inside?"
"Your clothes are ugly. In fact, all of them are ugly. Since we were here, lets buy some better clothes for you." Bella was pissed off by Rey's remark. 'Your clothes are uglier than mine.' Actually, Rey know that his clothes are uglier. He only wants to find an excuse to buy the clothes for Bella.
Rey was still dragging his sister when someone suddenly spoke rudely to them.
"Bella? You were Bella, right?" Bella trying to find the source of the sound. Once she found it, her face went pale. The one who spoke rudely to them was her classmate Olivia, Olivia Zachry.
Olivia has a great background. She is the sole heir of a successful man in D City. The owner of Green Flower hospital of D City, Ren Zachry. Ren was not a doctor. He only owns a hospital that inherited from his father.
To put it simply, Olivia is a princess like lady who has a rich father. Actually, Olivia is a beauty but was not as beautiful as Bella. She resent Bella because she was poor. She is poor but why she is prettier. Among the freshman, Bella belonged to the so called three goddesses of the school (freshman edition) while Olivia was not included.
Olivia could not accept it. She has stronger background, more power. She deserves that place more than Bella. Well, she is just arrogant little lady. She often ridicules Bella while Bella could only smile for her behavior.
Olivia never as far to hurt Bella physically because the school forbids it. Even if her background was far stronger than Bella. It wasn't strong enough to break the rules. Once she hurt Bella, she would be expelled immediately.
Bella never told her family about it. So, nobody knows about her problem. Right at this moment with her pale face, Bella was hiding behind her brother, Rey. She was ashamed. She wants to leave the place as soon as possible.
"Brother, I was not feeling well today. Could we go home now? I want to take some rest." Bella look at his brother eyes with her pleading expression. She was in the verge of tear.
Rey, looking at her sister gained some insight about her problem. He was not talking. He only dragged his sister again.
"Bella! Why aren't you answering me?" Olivia and co chase after the two. Unsatisfied by the two reaction.
"Hey Bella, tell us! Who is this guy? His clothes look really cheap. Is he your boyfriend? Heheh, you two indeed has the same taste."
Rey was pissed off hearing the remarks. He drags his sister, turned left, right, left, right but Olivia still following behind them while ridiculing the two. Bella has begun to cry. Her eyes were watery.
Rey walk straight to a certain direction, the security office inside Zach district. The trio, Olivia and co were shocked when the two headed to the security's office. The three did not come to the office and only waited outside for the two.
"Good day sir?" Rey greeted respectfully.
"Good day, do you need some help?"
"Yes, there are several people suspiciously following us inside of this district. I suspect, they might have bad intention to both of us. I have tried to turn my direction but they still following us. Look! Even my sister has began to cry. She clearly felt afraid. Please help us sir!"
Bella was stupefied. She could not believe what his brother has said. The security was suspicious and looked at the recorded video from cctv cam. Rey directed the security which direction he took, and the securities become stupefied. 'Three little girls following you and you are afraid? You have a strong body, could these three hurt you?'
In securities eyes, Rey indeed has a medium body but its should be enough for them to protect themselves from the three. Heck, would the three dared to attack him? The securities did not think so.
The securities still followed the procedure, since the footage has shown that the three indeed chase after the two. The securities would proceed with the protocol of Zach District.
The three outside were oblivious about what is happen inside. The security guards walked out from the office and walks towards the three. The three was shocked. 'What happens?'
"I am sorry, can you follow us to the office?"
"Why would we follow you?" The three became terrified and their faces went pale.
"We got a report saying the three of you were suspiciously following two persons. We have checked the security camera and found that the report was indeed true. So, we need you to follow us for some investigation."
The three faces suddenly become paler and paler. 'Was that bastard who report us? What a sissy man.' The three hated was directed to Bella's 'boyfriend', Rey. The three follow the guards to the investigation room. The three was not afraid that the guards might do something to them, because every investigation room in Dawn Republic has several cameras in it. So, the guard would never do something bad to the three.
The three entered the office and saw the two. They glared at Rey, the culprit of they misfortune. Rey could only chuckled, while Bella was still in her daze. 'What, what happens?' Rey dragged his sister again. This time he dragged her sister to a certain shop. The shop was selling clothes for both woman and man.
"Pick!" Rey commanded.
Bella's eyes brightened. She began to observe the clothes forgetting that she was almost in tears a moment ago. Rey could only shake his head helplessly looking at his cheerful sister. Rey choose a chair to sit and waiting for his sister.
Rey observe his sister behavior and noticed her gaze was landed on a certain direction. Bella approach the drees in that direction and began to observe the dress. Her eyes resembled that of a happy little girl. The dress was purple in color, resembled a majestic and elegant looking dress. Bella looked really interested by the dress.
Moments later, her faces became pale looking at the tag price. She reluctantly left the dress and began to look for another dress. Rey obviously know what is happen. He gets up from the chair and approach Bella and drag her again.
Bella was helpless. She was getting used to it. Rey approach the purple dress and lightly said.
"We take this dress home!"
"But, brother the price."
"No need to worry about that, your brother is rich. Kekeke."
Seeing her resolute brother, Bella 'unwillingly' took the dress. The dress was cost 500 $. In Bella's mind, Rey has almost depleted his money from the food and taxis fare, so she wants to look for cheaper dress. That's why she left the dress earlier.
