"Hey are you daydreaming again" a familiar voice said
"w-what was that I was gone for a second"
As he said that, jake opened his eyes and a girl stood in front of him
"hhh it was nothing" the girl said with a slightly pissed voice
"no now I'm curious tell me what you said please"
Just so you know the guy that sits on a chair on the right side of the room was Jake and the girl that spoke to him was Anna and she was seemingly mad at something. That's nothing new though because she was always mad at Jake or Dawn for not listening.
"so what are we going to do now just staying here until the commander tells us to get out or is there something we can do" Jake was looking out of a window onto a camp where many other goblins walked around and talked to each other.
Oh and I forgot you are in a goblin village and it's basically just a few tents and a wooden wall around it, Jake and Anna are goblins as well and Dawn (the girl I mentioned earlier) was the commander of tract 13, that was where Jake and Anna were in.
"Hey guys come to the training or I'll cut you're head off of you're shoulders" Dawn, a goblin woman that was very muscular and old just came into the room and slammed the door open so that the two jumped up and were pumped up with adrenaline.
"whoah Dawn why do you keep scaring the fuck out of us you bitch"
"calm down Jake Its just my Form of saying good morning and btw don't call me bitch ever again or your head will join the rats"
"You two can't you just stop fighting for 1 moment and look what's going on outside"
As the tree of them looked through the window a tent at the end of the road was burning.
"ahhhh I told him not to do anything stupid again it's the fifth time this week and it's only fucking Tuesday. I swear to God if his goddamn excuse is that he just wanted to cook and I see potions all over the place he's not surviving the three seconds worth of talking God he makes me angry again" as she said that dawn nearly broke the door and stomped every insect on her way to the magicians house at the end of the village.
"OK im impressed I've never seen dawn so pissed since I walked naked into her bed on our field trip we did before 10 years holy shit mark has done some serious shit over there." Jake said with a smirk on his face.
So as they walk towards the burning tent jake notices that something is off. He feels a shiver going down his spine and his smirk turns into a frightened and shocked face. He starts sprinting towards the helpless magician who screams at the top of his lungs as he starts to slowly burn to ashe.
"no no no no no why, why did you not wear your safety sui-"
"sokino tecrotunum" some noise comes from the weakest and also the strongest monster of them all
"heca delotritum" two more of these beasts are now visible to Jake
"oh no there are crugs and it's three of them! They seem strong!!" Jake wipes the blood of his face as he stands up and runs towards one of these unbelievable beasts. His trusty dagger misses as he lunges onto the seemingly weakest of them.
"holudaso. Be fol Terre!" the crug laughs as he kicks the attacking goblin 20 meters away, he fades away and lies there looking like dead.
As Jake wakes up he jumps up and looks around just to see that everyone has been vaporized. He sits down breaking into tears.
"they were annoying yeah but I never wanted this, I couldn't tell Dawn that she is the best captain that I've ever had and could think of and Anna I was so dumb not to tell her my true feelings when I was able to. I loved these 2 idiots so fucking much and now they are gone. Burnt into ashes and it's all my fault. I- I I'm gonna take revenge for you 2 I'm gonna kill these damn crugs and if it's the last thing I'll ever do" with tears running down his face he tries to stand up but fails miserably and falls back down. A simple thud is to hear through the forest as he tries and tries again to just stand up.
He finally decides to look at the damage that he has endured and realizes that if he is not healed quickly he will bleed to death but with these cut open legs he won't make it anywhere so he decides to think of all the good times he had with Anna and Dawn and as his vision fades again he whispers his last wish and happily starts dreaming of seeing Anna and Dawn in the afterlife again.
Dawn and Anna finally dragged his ass all the way towards the new camp and Anna heals with the last bit of her power the huge wounds of this stupid goblin. Well as you see Jake did not die and Anna and Dawn actually survived aswell. You want to know what happened? OK ok the thing is that these goblins are not just normal goblins like in every video game. These goblins are actually part of a civilized culture that specializes in survival and the training they have is not for fighting but for running away and staying alive. So what happened in the fight against these crugs?
