Chapter 117 - Refugees

Bai Yue arose from her sleep to the pungent smell of garlic, right under her nose. Opening her eyes, she was met with the very close sight of Liu'er sticking garlic to her nostrils.

"Yue, you finally woke up! Wait here, I need to tell Zheng Fei. He has been circling the house only gods know how many times since he brought you here unconscious. Doctor Sheng says you were mentally and physically exhausted," Liu'er rambled on tirelessly, then ran out of the room so fast it left an afterimage on Bai Yue's retina.

She blinked it away and let out a sigh. After living for so long, only now did she realize the ability of a doctor to spout nonsense when they were at a loss before an 'illness'.

What exhaustion? She clearly fainted out of disgust. Even now, just recalling what happened caused her complexion to turn green again and her stomach to try to climb out of her throat.
