Chapter 30 - Emily’s smile

Originally wanting to buy a house in the rich area of free town, Bick did not expect to meet a weirdo like Cook as soon as he entered. He could only bring Kate to check in here again under the awkward and nervous professional smile of the people at the Paradise Hotel.

In order to save the impression of his hotel here in Bick, the hotel manager personally acted as a guest waiter, the whole process of personal service.

After finally getting rid of this guy who was so eager to please Bick that he had lost his sense of standards, Kate pulled Bick and rolled him out of bed.

Even Bic was shocked by Kate's enthusiasm, but of course he would not object to such a thing.

For young men and women who had just tasted the forbidden fruit, who would refuse such a wonderful enjoyment.

However, soon Bick realized that something was not right, and Kate's reaction was really a little strange.

"Huff huff, Darling, weren't you hungry earlier? Maybe we should take a break and eat something? Ugh..." Bick proposed a "truce" embarrassedly, slightly out of breath.

But Kate still rode him like a chivalrous woman.

Seeing this, Bick could only continue to grit his teeth and cooperate. He consoled himself in his heart, "It's not that I'm too useless. After all, Kate was injected with a gene reagent. Her physical fitness is two to three times stronger than mine. Wait, a gene reagent? Damn that guy!"

With great effort, he flipped over and finally managed to push Kate down. Ignoring her desperate struggle to transform into a female knight again, Bick said in a serious tone, "Calm down, Kate. Your current condition is not right."

Thinking of Kate's reaction after smelling Cook's nutrient supply, Bick guessed that it was an inducer that targeted the gene reagent.

It could seduce those who had been injected with the gene agent, and the desire of their genes to be strong again after evolution.

If the gene was not satisfied, it would generate genetic signals that would allow the body to choose to pass the gene on.

Bick didn't major in this field in college, but he simply made a bold assumption that was made based on Kate's and the people in the rich area's abnormalities.

After all, the instinct of a creature was to eat to maintain its own life, and to reproduce and pass on its own genes.

Cook's nutrient supply could arouse everyone's desire to eat, and presumably, it could also arouse their reproductive instinct.

Kate, who was lost in the depths of her genes' desire, only woke up when she heard Bick's words.

She pursed her lips tightly and resisted the thought of continuing to pounce on Bick.

With hot air coming out of her mouth and nose, Kate suddenly sat up and gave herself a hard nudge on the side of her neck before passing out.

Seeing how Kate had used such a method to calm herself down and how torturous it was, the hatred in Bick's heart toward Cook increased by another third.

After covering Kate with the quilt, Bic stumbled out of bed with a sore waist and weak legs. He went to the living room to pour a glass of wine to moisten his throat.

As a VIP of the high-ranking officials of free town, what should he do if he hid in the rich area?

Bick put down the glass of wine and his heart was racing.

It was useless even if he got Ted and the others back. How could a group of slave soldiers break free town!

A large survivor base with a population of 200,000 to 300,000 was not easy to deal with.

Just as Bick was scratching his head, the semi-transparent Windows XP interface after the system upgrade suddenly appeared in front of his eyes.

Only then did Bick notice that it was already midnight.

When he entered the room with Kate, it was already past three in the afternoon. It was understandable that he could not take it. Even the iron-forged person had been squeezed into iron dregs.

"Let me see what kind of reward is on today's check-in. It would be best if I can get rid of that damn cook!" Bick muttered to himself in a low voice. He rubbed his hands and directly tapped on the interface in the void.

"Warning. Your gene sequence has been destroyed and reassembled by an unknown force. The system has opened up a portion of the mystical reward ahead of time. Please use it with caution!"

"Warning..."

The red text that was spammed three times gave Bick a fright.

When he saw the warning content clearly, Bick's heart sank.

After all, anyone who saw their genes being destroyed would not be in a good mood.

However, his heart was immediately filled with ecstasy.

What was the meaning of a blessing in disguise? This was it!

Although weapons such as machetes, Spears, and heavy machine guns were good, it was not like Bick did not have the opportunity to come into contact with them in the world that he had not transmigrated to.

It was only because of the financial constraints that he had been unable to enjoy himself.

However, in the original world, even the richest person in the world would not be able to come into contact with this mysterious reward, right?

Bick's heart was filled with anticipation. He did not know what the reward would be this time?

Give him a golden dragon and let him become a Dragon Knight after the contract?

A magic tome that would allow him to walk on the path of a grand magister?

Or was it the inheritance of an ancient hero that allowed him to defy the heavens and slaughter gods?

There were too many daydreams that could be spread out. Bick's saliva almost flowed out.

"Giggle, are you the master who summoned me? You really are a strong and handsome man!" A seductive and sweet voice suddenly sounded.

Although this voice made people feel very comfortable, it also made people physically uncomfortable.

That was because the human ear could not locate the direction of this voice.

The voice seemed to come from above, or from behind, but after careful searching, it seemed to be in front of him.

Or, the voice was coming from the bottom of his heart.

Just as Bick was feeling this strange feeling, which was both psychological and physical, he felt a burning pain on the back of his left hand.

He looked down and saw a tattoo the size of a coin.

Although the tattoo was only a few simple strokes, it depicted a beautiful woman with a smile on her face.

"Emily's smile. As the first vampire that Dracula personally sired, Emily has extremely powerful blood clan magic. You can summon her to serve you wholeheartedly every full moon night."

Looking at the introduction of the system interface, Bick subconsciously rubbed his eyes and looked at it again to make sure that his eyes were not playing tricks on him.

Bick was very familiar with the name Dracula.

The famous Count Dracula, one of the legendary origins of vampires, could be considered an ancestor-level vampire boss.

The first vampire that he personally sired could be considered the second strongest existence among vampires.

But seeing that he could only summon him on a full moon night, Bick felt a little unsatisfied.

Didn't this mean that he could only use such powerful combat strength for one night a month?

Moreover, this night couldn't be used anytime, anywhere. It had to be when the moon was full.

He subconsciously turned his head to look out of the window. The stars were hidden in the cold night sky. There was only a bright, full moon hanging high in the sky.

The corner of Bick's mouth couldn't help but curl into an inexplicable smile.
