Mu Qingyun, Luo Ning, Luo Bing, and Bai Xiaole just stared at Cross strangely. He looked at them and said "What?" they shook their heads and Cross sniffed, looking away. The man looked at Long Chen and said "Don't think I forgot about you. You're not qualified to go after Bai Shishi."
Long Chen was stunned and said "What? Is your brain too small? I'm in a good mood now, don't make me smack you to death." the man said "Let's fight. If I lose, Bai Shishi belongs to you." Long Chen laughed and said "What is Bai Shishi? A toy? If I beat you up I get my turn to play?" he shook his head and everyone heard a snort.
They turned to see Bai Shishi herself.
Cross chuckled and said "Right, little Rock. How do you feel about this?" Bai Shishi grit her teeth and said "Little Rock?" Cross nodded and said "Shi means Rock, so little rock." Bai Xiaole burst out laughing and Bai Shishi was trembling in anger.
Cross chuckled and said "I wouldn't do it. I can spank you in a heartbeat. I, your father, don't play games." another voice said "You're her father?" Cross turned and saw Bai Zhantang, he took out the Guandao and spun it saying "You want some of this, old man? I'll give you a bump in front of all these people!" Bai Zhantang was slowly losing control and a beautiful woman, that was Bai Shishi's mother, said to the group "Let's go~"
Cross grinned at Bai Zhantang and held the Guandao upright next to him. He was 6'2 and the Guandao was taller than him! Very menacing. Bai Zhantang snorted and left with a wave, Cross put away the Guandao with a triumphant expression, making Bai Shishi's mother laugh.
Cross turned around and looked at his family before saying seriously "You all stay here and cultivate to be big and strong. Luna, Jasmine, Feng Xue'er, and Jie Yuan, you four try and get to the 4 Extremes Realm, the rest of you brats stay at the Peak of Divine Flame Realm. When I come back I'll watch over your Tribulation."
Lily asked "Why?" Cross grinned and said "You know Daddy's thunderclouds? The small ones you'll get aren't enough. Hehehe." the kids were stunned and Jasmine said "What about us?" Cross smiled and replied "You're precious. Look at these kids, if one dies we'll make another one. Can I make another Jasmine? I don't think so."
The kids choked, while his wives giggled. Obviously Cross was joking, his kids were the most important things in his life. He looked at all of them and said seriously "If you're really too busy, Leave Yuanyuan with Bai Zhantang or his wife."
Jie Yuan's face turned ugly and she said "Really?" Cross nodded and said "Although I fight the old bastard everyday, he's not a bad person. I would leave her with the Cranes but who knows where they go and Yuanyuan is only 4 years old..." Cross paused and said "She's very special though, anyway, just stay safe. I love you all." he get each of them a kiss and smiled as he left, boarding the Chariot.
He sat in a corner by a window and looked outside, clenching his fists slightly. He could take them with him because the Inner World was still changing. Basically the only living things inside were the beasts and they were being held in the Castle.
He didn't like leaving them alone, it was the one thing he was most scared of. He could support the sky, laugh at the heavens, disdain the Gods, but if he lost his family... He didn't know what he would do.
The Chariot flew away and Cross was silent, looking out the window in a daze. Long Chen sat across from him and the girls sat at another table. Bai Xiaole went to sleep in a bedroom and Bai Shishi sat at a table away from everyone.
Bai Shishi's mother smiled and sat next to Cross saying "You both are really spectacular." Long Chen smiled and Cross looked out the window at the shrinking Lingxiao Academy, feeling a bit sad. Bai Shishi's mother accepted Tea from Mu Qingyun with a smile and she said to Long Chen "Is there anyone you like on this boat, Long Chen?"
Long Chen coughed and said "This... I'm not qualified. A man who can only watch his women die in front of him..." he sighed and shook his head. Everyone felt a wave of sadness wash over them, Cross glanced at him before looking back out the window.
Bai Shishi's mother's movements paused for a moment before she started explaining the dangerous people at the Convention. Cross ignored her and then said "Does it matter who it is or what they do?" everybody looked at him and he added "Just punch once, if it's not enough and then punch again."
He rolled his eyes "Corpse poison, strong body, flames, Ptui! It's all garbage in front of Daddy's attacks. Even those shit heads from Enpuda's Killing moron group or whatever it's called can only kneel down and sing conquest in front of absolute strength."
Bai Shishi's mother smiled and said "They why did you come?" Cross looked out the window and said "I'm bored. Killing people is fun. Coincidentally, Lingxiao needs to make a splash so I came to blow a hole in the lake. Whoever is unlucky enough to get in the way, dies. Simple."
Long Chen chuckled and Bai Shishi's mother said "Is that so..." Cross didn't answer, who knows what he was really thinking.
A while later
The arrived and walked out of the Chariot, Cross was standing next to Long Chen and looking at the other disciples that were sneering at them. He looked at them and smiled lightly, everyone looking at him felt their vision blur to apocalyptic scenes of death and destruction, some even fainted.
Cross chuckled and a group of people walked over, an old man was leading them with a wooden walking stick. Before he even opened his mouth, Cross slapped him across the city. He looked at the rest and said "You bunch of clowns, come! Come altogether, Lord Fifth will clean up the city today!"
Everyone was stunned, the old man flew away and the disciples chased after him in a flurry, only leaving "Watch your-" before getting slapped and flying after the old man. Long Chen slapped him this time and said "Let me help you, friend." the other disciples started running and Cross burst out laughing.
He looked around and sneered "A bunch of pussies, what are you doing to do about it? Keep your eyes to yourselves before I take them from you!" the other disciples looked away and they waiting in line to get to the city, after a while of waiting and more arrogant people showing up to get into the city, via express slap, they finally reached the gate.
The old man there was gloomy and Cross laughed, patting his shoulder as he said "Old man, if the young people aren't rowdy will they even be young? Here take a gift from me." he pulled out a book and gave it to the old man as he said "Read this, relax, make have some wine. Standing guard here all day, isn't it boring?"
The old man was stunned and took the book, Long Chen said "I haven't seen you give someone anything before." Cross smiled and said "I wrote this book myself. It's an original story about a brave young man..." he explained the book and Long Chen felt his mouth twitch as he said "It's really just a book?"
Cross smiled and nodded "Just a book." the old man opened the book and nodded saying "Thanks!" Cross gave him a thumbs up saying "You tell me if it's good, old man. Maybe I'll publish another one just for you." before entering the city.
They went to the residence of Lingxiao Academy and Bai Shishi's mother said angrily "This is too much!" Cross looked at the ruins and laughed, Long Chen smiled and said "Who cares. We're not living here forever."
Cross shook his head and said "Lingxiao Academy is really too pitiful..." he sighed and tapped the ground with his foot. A tornado appeared and swept all the dust, dirt, rocks, etc into another Sect's residence. His ears twitched and he held his hands together in front of his chest, they glowed green and he spread them out. Trees sprouted from the ground and warped into a new and better residence, full of life and nature, a little mist traveled on the ground and flowers bloomed all around.
Cross patted his hands and hummed as he walked into the residence under everyone's stunned gaze. A tree branch sprouted under his feet and lifted him into the tree, Cross laid down on the tree branch and yawned before falling asleep.
Long Chen chuckled and went to look at the trees. Bai Shishi's mother left and Long Chen left right after. Cross started snoring on the tree branch, looking like a sloth. Luo Ning climbed up and said "Big Devil! Wake up!" Cross grunted and said "I'll cuddle you later, silly girl. I'm comfortable right now."
Luo Ning blushed and said "Damn Devil! I said wake up!" Cross rolled over he kick and grabbed her waist, pulling her in as leaves formed a bed under him. He yawned and continued sleeping, as Luo Ning struggled for a while until finally realizing she was trapped and letting herself be cuddled.
She sniffed and snuggled into his body, taking advantage of him as she fell asleep.
3 days flew by
Cross was awoken by a shout, he held Luo Ning by here waist and jumped to another branch, looking down with half opened eyes as he said "What..." Bai Shishi sneered and said "Enjoying paradise? Long Chen's sermon is soon. Let's go." He moved Luo Ning to his back and followed the group with a yawn.
Luo Ning was still sleeping on his back and Luo Bing took more pictures of her. They left and arrived at the arena to heard loud shouts, Luo Ning woke up and blushed before sliding down Cross' back and pinching his waist.
Cross yawned and poked her nose saying "Boop." before walking to the spectators area and sitting down next to Bai Shishi. He crossed his arms and leaned back, Bai Shishi said "Some brother you are..." Cross replied "He's going to humiliate these old men anyway, I don't need to watch to know my brother and your husband is amazing."
Bai Shishi grinded her teeth and her ear tips turned pink as she said "Say that again, I dare you." Cross yawned and said "Oi... Ms. 'I don't need a man' you're truly a strange girl you know that? You know, without men humans would die out. Who's going to produce the sperm for babies?" he clicked his tongue and shook his head.
Bai Shishi said angrily "You-" Cross cut her off saying "Also, you think I'm blind? I see your sneaky glances, just shh or I'll tell Long Chen." Bai Shishi turned her head and said "I hate you." Cross smiled and said "I love you too~" before getting comfortable in his chair and watching Long Chen get boo'd.
