2 months before the Devil Sword conference
Jasmine said that her poison had been cleared! Cross hugged her and spun her around a few times with pure joy on his face. He was just too happy! Jasmine smiled sweetly and kissed him, they quickly moved to the bed but they were interrupted again by Hong'er.
Cross almost spanked her to death! This was the 3rd time! Can this little sword eating monster take a hint?!

Cross and Yun Che were hovering above the Supreme Ocean Palace, they descended and walked inside. Yun Che had reached the Peak of Emperor Realm while Cross was still in the 1st level of the Divine Origin Realm. Jasmine was confused as to why he wasn't advancing when he could've advanced by now.
Cross told her that he was waiting for something, he actually only cultivated his Mace skills and his 'Void Step' for the entire time since he advanced to 1st level Divine Origin Realm. Feng Xue'er had advanced to the Peak of the Sovereign Realm, so had Luna. They were only a step away from each other now.
Cross told them to consolidate their cultivations, especially Feng Xue'er. He had a plan for her, based on the research he had done and the countless hours of studying, his plane would work amazingly. It may even come with extra benefits!
The duo both agreed.
Currently, Yun Che and Cross walked into the Supreme Ocean Palace. They were escorted by a great elder to see the Sovereign of the Seas. Yun Che started talking to her about entering the Moon Slaughter Devil's Nest, to which she agreed talking about some nonsense.
Cross wasn't really paying attention, to him this woman was only a slightly larger ant. The only person under the Divine Origin Realm to even give him a bit of pressure was Luna. Other than that, not even Feng Xue'er could do anything to him.
From the Sovereign Realm to the Divine Origin Realm was a massive leap! A change in quality AND quantity. They were completely different, he could crush anyone under him with a finger. Not to mention that he was completely able to fight above his own Realm easily!
Cross assumed he could fight equally with a 1st Level Divine Soul Realm and still have a chance to win. It might be a hard fight but he could definitely come out on top. Even Jasmine was impressed with his strength, his movements were quick and ruthless, if he was anywhere near her own strength she would rather fight 100 other people than fight him.
In short, Cross himself was extremely dangerous. His fighting style that had complete disregard for his own life was truly terrifying. He was a demon in Elf skin!
Yun Che finished talking to the woman and Zi Ji appeared with two Sovereign Realm beast cores. Jasmine had everything she needed to re construct her body, except Yun Che needed to get to the Sovereign Realm first our he simply wouldn't have enough energy to complete the process.
Not only would he die, but Jasmine as well. Unfortunately, even Cross didn't have a solution for this. Jasmine and Yun Che's lives were connected as of right now and could only be severed when Jasmine made her body.
Priority number 1 right now was getting Yun Che to the Sovereign Realm, since there was still time before Jasmine re-created her body, Cross wanted to find another Sovereign Core. They had 2 Sovereign ones and a Tyrant one. It would always be better with better materials.
Cross even wanted to find a few Divine Origin beasts and take their cores instead but it was impossible without going to a higher realm. Jasmine would only get the best, and he had asked her about the process before. He had a few tricks up his sleeves and coincidentally he was missing a few things that he also needed for Feng Xue'er.
As he contemplated how to create a perfect body for Jasmine, Yun Che and Cross were ushered to the Moon Slaughtering Devil's nest. Cross had overheard Zi Ji talking about his husband and Wife relationship with the Sovereign of the Seas.
His mind clicked and he turned to Zi Ji and said "Old Ji, do you love this woman?" Zi Ji was startled and said "Of course!" Cross smiled and said "Old Ji, how about we make a deal? Can you find one more Sovereign core?"
Zi Ji looked away and said "Perhaps.." Cross grinned and said "Old Ji, it couldn't be you're holding out on an old friend? The title of the Bloodthirsty Reaper is for enemies, for friends you can call me Cross. I don't care for your strange seniority beliefs. To me if you're a friend your a friend, even if you were a mortal we would still be friends!"
Zi Ji trembled and smiled slightly as he said "The rumors say otherwise, Cross. Hahahha" Cross shook his head with a smile and replied "Whatever they say, it's nonsense. A bunch of morons terrified and hiding in their little nests because they're guilty. Anyway, Old Ji, I have something that can solve your problem!"
Cross flipped his palm and a vial of pink liquid appeared, hovering over his palm. Zi Ji asked "What's this?" Cross chuckled and said "It's original name was Amortentia. Basically the original drink induces a heavy obsession in the person who drinks it, towards the person who gave it to them. But this cannot facilitate love."
Zi Ji frowned but Cross spoke again "BUT! Being the friend I am, I will naturally not make your wife obsessed with you. I modified it myself. The potion will only cause minor infatuation for a period of time, depending on the strength of the drinker it could be 5 days to a month! When drunk the drinker will subconsciously think about the person who gave it to them and make an effort to be with that person as much as possible."
Cross looked at Zi Ji and said seriously "Old Ji, this will not change her completely! It will only give you an opportunity! Also, she will still be the same. You will not be able to have sex with her until the potion's effects wear off!" he put it in Zi Ji's hands and said with a smile "In the end, it depends on your charms. Based on my calculations, this potion on that woman, should last for around 15 days. After that, the minor infatuation will wear off and she will either be the same or you have reached into her heart and changed her."
Cross warned again "Creating love out of thin air with a potion is impossible! You have to do it yourself!" his tone smoothed out and said "It also has a cherry flavor!"
Zi Ji was stunned holding the potion in his hand, Yun Che said "You had that the whole time?!" Cross sneered and said "Should I have given it to a pervert like you??? My entire castle would have been full of women!" Yun Che coughed and muttered "Bastard..."
Zi Ji said "Cross... This... Is there any side effects that would be harmful?" Cross smiled and said "Nope! Though she might be a little angry you drugged her... I suggest telling her the truth either before, or after, you give it to her." Zi Ji took out another Sovereign Core and said seriously "Thank you, Cross. Seriously."
Cross smiled and took the core saying "No problem, Old Ji! I believe in your success!" Zi Ji laughed and said "Hopefully, I won't let you down." Yun Che chuckled and Cross hovered the core above his palm and shot his arm in the air with an amazed face.
Yun Che and Zi Ji could've sworn they heard a strange jingle and a voice say "You got the last Sovereign Beast Core!"
Cross put the core away and Zi Ji opened the barrier to the MSDN. The group went inside and the barrier closed behind them. They went inside and saw the Netherworld Udumbara Flower, but it was only half bloom.
Time ticked by and Zi Ji shouted "We have to leave now!" he was already jumping through the exit with the rest but Yun Che stopped and said "I'll come out in a few days! I need this flower!" the rest's faces paled and the barrier shut completely.
Cross said "Hey! The kid's got guts!" but he was looking around the nest, his palm turned and a black flame appeared on his palm. This was the Darkness and Death flame from both his elements. Cross chuckled weirdly and the flame started sucking in the darkness around it, becoming more and more black and more pure.
Jasmine shouted through the necklace "What are you doing?!" Cross said "Purifying my darkness and death elements. Am I ruining the flower? Ah.. I'll stop for now." Jasmine sighed and said "Not that... I was scared. If you got devoured by the darkness here..." her voice choked up.
Cross smiled softly and said "Don't worry your pretty little face. If something like this wanted to devour me.. Hmph! It's simply Impossible!" Jasmine giggled and didn't reply, naturally her man was amazing!
Yun Che returned to the Netherworld Udumbara Flower and said "Sorry for disturbing you Moon Slaughter Devil Sovereign!" Cross ignored him and spat "Don't bother me and I won't kill you, it's very simple." he looked at Yun Che and said "Little bro, I'm going to look around. I'll be right back."
Before he walked away, looking around the Moon Slaughter Devil's Nest. He was absorbing the darkness element with his flames, purifying them and mixing it with his own darkness element. His Darkness element was getting purer by the second as he walked around.
Cross walked around sucking in the darkness before coming to a bunch of stones and hearing a sound. He punched the rocks away and heard the sound of dozens of babies crying. Cross clicked his tongue and looked at the bladed wheel with a baby's face on it.
Cross sneered and said "You're extremely annoying. Just your sound makes me want to destroy you." the sound stopped and the wheel spoke "Who are you!?" Cross said "Shouldn't I be asking you?" the wheel said "Naturally, I am the Evil Infant Wheel of Myriad Tribulations! One of the 7 heavenly profound treasures!"
Cross said "Oh?" before his tone had interest in it as he continued "Like the Sky Poison Pearl?" the wheel snorted and said "The very same." Cross rubbed his chin and said "Seems like you're extremely weak right now..."
Cross grinned hungrily and full of greed as he said "Perfect!" he disappeared before reappearing with Luna, Feng Xue'er, and Jasmine's necklaces, he took off his own and hovered them together. The wheel trembled and said "W-WHAT A-RE YOU D-D-DOING?!"
Cross chuckled grimly and said "Isn't it obvious? Devouring you to strengthen my own treasure! You're entire existence annoys me! Whether it's your appearance or the sound you make! Fear not little wheel..." his cackled "You won't have to suffer for much longer~"
The wheel screeched in pain as Cross slammed his black flame into the wheel's face and devoured all the darkness inside. Ear piercing screams of pain were heard throughout the nest and Cross laughed "Obediently be devoured! Hahahahahahah!"
The wheel hovered in the air and Cross used his void forging with a sadistic grin, breaking down the Wheel piece by piece, slowly melting it down into a liquid. He spat a sliver of green crystalline liquid and his own blood into the mixture.
As soon as his blood and the green liquid touched the wheel, it let out a pig slaughtering yell, pleading "NO! PLEASE! I'LL BE YOUR SLAVE! YOU CAN BE MY MASTER AND BE INVINCIBLE!" Cross laughed "Are you even worthy?!" the wheel screamed in pain and slowly it's cries died out before becoming completely silent.
Cross checked the liquid and sneered, he spit out a Void flame and burned all the impurities away, along with the sliver of consciousness that was hiding. With a final scream, the Evil Wheel of whatever was no more.
Cross happily upgraded his Prayer Bead necklaces with the Molten Wheel's remains. They merged perfectly and lightning fell form the sky, landing right on the necklaces. Black gas came out of them and after 9 strikes, the four necklaces looked to be even more beautiful!
Cross smiled and wore his necklace once more, feeling a connection even deeper than before! The necklace was longer and the black beads were so black they devoured the light around him. It had advanced to a True Heavenly Profound Treasure! The other three bead necklaces got longer and bigger as well, they shined like beautiful treasures, their colors extremely vibrant and bright.
If he had to classify the necklaces he would say that they were Pseudo Heavenly Profound Treasures.. Or rather all four necklaces were one Treasure. Cross decided to name it 'Prayer Beads of the Elven God' after he named it the 4 necklaces glowed before dimming.
Cross was amazed and heard a tender voice "Master! I'm alive!" Cross jumped and said "You! An artifact spirit!?" The voice said cheerfully "Yes, Master! You did it!" Cross was happy and said "The others.." the Prayer Bead necklace said "They're all sister spirits! They have spirits too! Yaaay! Master is the best~"
Cross chuckled and held onto the necklaces, he wanted to give them back to the girls when they were all together. Cross said "I should give you a name... How about Aurora?" Aurora said happily "I love it, Master!" Cross smiled and walked back as Aurora talked to Cross about what she could do now. He was stunned by the uses!
