Three days passed in a flash
Cross was sitting n the Yun Family seats next to Yun Che, a ton of eyes were on him because, firstly, he was an Elf, and secondly... He wasn't wearing a shirt. This place was even hotter than the Divine Phoenix City! How could these people feel comfortable?
All he was wearing was black shorts that ended at the middle of his thighs, his prayer bead necklace, and his trademark pink fluffy bunny slippers.
All the women were feasting their eyes on his perfectly built body, licking their lips hungrily. Even one girl, who Xiao Yun say 'Didn't put any man in her eyes', was staring at him in a hungry daze. Cross didn't look at any of them and said "Can't this little Demon Vixen hurry up? Doesn't she know this King's time is precious?"
Yun Qinghong smacked his head and said "Enough!" Yun Che chuckled and Cross grumbled "Damn old man, next time see if you can bluff me..." Yun Che laughed and got a swift smack to his head courtesy of Qinghong.
Cross chuckled and at that moment, a reverberating, earsplitting voice filled the Demon Imperial Hall and the originally noisy grand hall immediately fell into a hush. It was so quiet that one could hear the sound of pin dropping. Every single person raised their head to the skies and gazed at the sky above the grand hall "The Little Demon Empress has arrived!"
A curtain of flame parted and revealed the little Demon Empress. Yun Che's pupils shrank and Cross burst out laughing, but Yun Che clamped his hand over his mouth, glaring at him. Cross was shaking from laughter.
The little demon empress... She was the girl from the small lake! The girl who showed both of them her entire body! It was too funny! Yun Che really has this sort of luck...
Cross calmed down and took Yun Che's hand off as he said "Aiya, she looked better without that terrible robe on." Yun Che almost slapped him to death, luckily Cross said that only to Yun Che or else the entire place would have went up in flames.
But this little girl.. Cross had to give it to her. She was more arrogant than him! She stood up from her throne, made a toast, drained her wine cup, and said "Who made the seating arrangements today?" Cross almost clapped! She must've heard him before and decided not to waste a single moment!
Duke Huai stood up and said "It was this Duke, your Highness." Little Demon Empress snorted and said "The seating arrangements haven't changed for 100,000 years. Why did you change them today?" Duke Huai replied "This Duke asked the various families and they said they wanted to be in the East wing, so I changed it."
The little Demon Empress nodded and said "Oh? I see. So you somehow got the power to change seats? It seemed to me that only I had the power to do this! I must have been mistaken, perhaps next time my own seat will be changed as well?"
Duke Huai grinded his teeth and bowed saying "This Duke doesn't dare!" The little Demon Empress snorted and said "Naturally you do not." she turned to the Helian family and said "Do you wish to sit in the east wing?"
Cross rolled his eyes, was she going to go through them all? I thought she was pro ending things quickly, seems like he misjudged this little vixen. Cross said "Oh my god... Are you going to go through them all?"
Everyone was dead silent and the Little Demon Empress looked at Cross, her gaze shifted to Yun Che and she narrowed her eyes for a second before turning back to Cross and saying "Perhaps you have a better idea?" Cross chuckled and said "Wrap it up as soon as possible. Only a moron wouldn't see what's going on. I say, is there a need to play out this play? It's really boring."
Cross sighed and said "Let me tell you what's going to happen. The east wing people are going to say 'Oh no we don't dare.' then you're going to get angry and say 'Then why have you sat there' then the Duke is going to say 'I thought they did' then you're going to be stuck. This endless cycle of cat and mouse... Isn't it better to just kill them all? If I'm wrong just treat my words as fart and continue."
Everybody was stunned. This was equivalent to ripping off Duke Huai's face in one go!
Yun Che sighed and the little Demon Empress was silent. Cross looked at Yun Che and said "Did I fuck it up?" Yun Che face palmed and said "Pretty much the whole thing." Cross rolled his eyes and said "So stupid, this moron is obviously trying to revolt but nobody's saying anything. It's really annoying to see his smiling face all the time. Whatever, continue with the show."
Everybody was confused and Cross said "Just wrap it up will you, not everyone has time to sit here and listen to you spout nonsense for no reason." he chuckled and added "You look better naked." before snapping his fingers.
Yun Che burst out laughing and everybody gasped, the little Demon Empress was enraged before everyone, except Yun Che, blinked and forgot about what just happened. Yun Che gave Cross and thumbs up before returning to his normal, listening, appearance. As expected, never a dull moment with this big brother of his!
The rest of the meeting went on just as Cross had said and the Little Demon Empress got a report from each family, but then the Dukes in the East wing said that they wanted the Yun Family to be kicked out of the 12 guardian families.
Yun Che naturally wouldn't allow this to happen and spoke out against them saying that they would leave and it was up to the Little Demon Empress anyway. Duke Huai responded with some garbage then said that they should compete in strength because that's what mattered.
Yun Che had no problems with this and said that they should have something to lose too so he requested 2.5 kilograms of Purple Veined Divine Crystal from each of the guardian families on the east wing, with the exception of Duke Huai who needed to give 10 kilograms, to be given to the Yun Family should they win.
The Duke laughed for a while and Yun Che called him a chicken then he agreed in rage, the Little Demon Empress personally said that she would make sure whoever lost would carry out their bets and agreed to be a witness to the fight.

Yun Che went up after a terrible display from the others in the West wing. He bet everyone easily, it wasn't even a competition, he only used Hong'er once. Duke Huai got up and shouted after he lost "This wild kid isn't even apart of the Yun F-" Yun Che rolled his eyes and released his Profound Handle, shutting Duke Huai up.
Cross clapped and said "Excellent move! You didn't even wait for him to finish! HAHAHAHAHAH" Everybody turned to Cross, who flashed to the stage and floated in the air with a demonic smile. He chuckled and said "Here comes my favorite part~" he looked at Yun Che and said "Surely I don't have to restrain my self now?"
Yun Che chuckled and shook his head, Cross grinned and said "Listen very carefully, let me wrap things up so we can go home. You're all going to mention the Demon Emperor seal is lost and the Mirror of Samsara is as well. Let's brush past this as it's not important."
A patriarch shouted "How is this not important?!" Cross chuckled grimly and the patriarch exploded into blood mist as Cross said "Because I have the bigger fist. If any of you clowns want to continue with this charade I will annihilate your entire family. I couldn't care less about the so-called 12 Guardian families. As far as I'm concerned you're all trash anyways, blatantly revolting against your emperor because some moron says so."
Cross' tone turned cold and commanding as he said "You will pay your wagers or you, your wife, your parents, your kids, even the chickens and dogs of your families will not survive!" he shouted with an ice cold killing intent "Not even a speck of blood will be left! Do you understand?! I'm not as dumb as your Empress, I don't let any roots survive when I take out weeds! Even the earth around the weeds isn't spared!"
His eyes glowed red and he had a crazy look in them as he eyed the patriarchs and Duke Huai. Cross sneered and said "I've seen the show for long enough." the little Demon Empress was glaring at him and he glanced at her with killing intent far more chilling than her own and spat "Something to say?"
The little Demon Empress said coldly "Did you call me dumb?" Cross sneered and said "If you're not dumb, what are you? A moron? A retard? An Idiot? Which do you prefer?" The Little Demon Empress was trembling in rage and Cross continued "Tremble! Tremble in rage at your own stupidity! You're unsuitable for the throne!"
Everyone gasped and Cross continued "You're weak and useless! Had you even had a bit of brains you would have uprooted all the growing problems when you became the Empress! Now, what do you do? You ignore the problem just like everyone else! Dancing around it like you couldn't be bothered to take care of it. All this, everything that happened today. It's all because of you. What ruthless? What scary? You're just a stupid little girl!"
Cross pointed at Duke Huai and said "This rat is blatantly challenging your authority right under your nose! As if he's the king of the Realm! And you snort, as if he could never imagine going against you. As if you are invincible! Do you realize that you are a single step away from death at every turn?"
Cross sneered and said "Stupid little girl, whatever plans you have, whoever your waiting for, they're not coming. You might as well have handed your little empty skull to him on a silver platter! If you were as ruthless as they say, how could this rat go against you at every turn? Why are the blind mice that follow him still alive? They sit on the east wing and represent the rat then they die, without an explanation! That's what it means to be an Emperor! A tumor grows infinitely, you're supposed to cut it off immediately! Not go and find a bigger tool for later! Idiot!"
A flurry of curses rained down from Cross' mouth, stunning everyone, including the little Demon Empress, speechless.
Cross said "Fuck! I did it again!" Yun Che sighed and said "This isn't a good chapter for you." Cross sighed and replied "I know right?" as he snapped his fingers and returned to his seat.
What he did was, he removed the memories of himself and him shouting at the Little Demon Empress from the Patriarchs and Duke Huai's mind, only leaving a threat from a powerful senior and having them believe its the Golden Crow.
For the Little Demon Empress, he just wiped the whole speech from her. He really couldn't be bothered anymore, so he went to the Sky Poison Pearl in a huff. Jasmine saw him and giggled as she said "Nice speech!" Cross crossed his arms and sat down, pouting "I hate this place." Jasmine laughed and flew over saying "En. Want me to make it better~?"
Cross caught her and pulled her into his lap, holding her waist with one hand and caressed her cheek with the other as he said cheekily "How are you going to do that?" Jasmine giggled and kissed him.
Cross flashed to the bed and laid on his back, holding Jasmine's waist as they locked lips while Yun Che was handling things outside. Cross was done with these people, he might just slap them all to death!
