Cross and Yun Che landed at the Frozen Harpy Sect. Chu Yueli walked inside and the two followed her. Cross had communicated with Luna and got her useless Slytherin necklace from her, he also took the ring from her. She was reluctant at first but Cross explained that he was going to try and make something better with them.
He had also taken the bracelets from Daphne, since she didn't use them anymore. He gathered them all in the box and studied them piece by piece. While the Magic enchantments didn't work anymore they were still there, all he had to do was make them work and he could even make them better.
Cross and Yun Che walked in to see an old woman sitting on the throne. Cross rolled his eyes and Yun Che said directly "Speak." the old woman smiled and said "You seem to have a hatred for our sect?"
Yun Che said in annoyance "Should I not? My pregnant wife would have been forced to leave the sect and brave the Endless Frozen plains alone if my brother hadn't been there. Or how about the fact that her own sister ratted her out, leading to my wife crippling herself to keep the child alive?"
Yun Che snapped his fingers and said "Oh yeah! I forgot that was the previous Palace Mistress, whatever happened to her? I heard she went on a long journey by herself?" he chuckled a bit at the end.
Cross grinned and the old woman sighed as she said "I understand your frustrations, Gong Yuxian was not a suitable Palace Mistress..." Cross laughed and said "Not suitable is an understatement. She was simply a moron through and through, I can only hope she's suffering for eternity in hell as we speak."
The old woman looked at Cross and didn't speak for a moment before asking "What go so far to wish that upon someone?" Cross sneered and said "Because the whole ideology of the previous whatever palace was absurd! Not to mention, your precious little rat over here decided to raise her sword against my wife's neck."
Yueli said "I nev-" Cross smiled and said "Your memories had been wiped because I scared you into pissing yourself. Just because you don't remember, doesn't mean I forgot as well." he turned back to the old woman and said "Actually, you got very lucky. She made me so angry that I decided extermination was too good. You should be counting your blessings that you didn't end up like the Xiao Sect and the Burning Heaven Clan."
Cross looked at the disciples and sneered "Though, you have to live as filthy creatures.. This is far worse than death in my opinion. As for the rat, having to witness everything around her change and be helpless to stop it is mental torture..." he looked at her before sighing "Unfortunately she hasn't developed a heart demon... Maybe I should really torture you?"
Yueli scrambled backwards with a pale face, the old woman sighed and said "Enough scaring the youngsters, Reaper. I invited you both here for a simple request." Cross looked at the old lady and asked "Why should I even listen to you?"
The old woman smiled and said "You came here didn't you?" Cross rolled his eyes and Yun Che spoke "Speak." the old woman said simply "I wish to see my precious disciples, Yuechan and Qingyue."
Cross said "YOUR disciples?" the old woman smiled calmly and said "Naturally not anymore I presume?" Cross shook his head and waved, a crack opened and Yuechan along with Qingyue walked out.
The old woman smiled kindly and said "Beautiful children..." her tone seemed disappointed and sad as she continued "I am truly sorry for your treatment." Yuechan trembled and Qingyue's eyes reddened.
Cross yawned and sat down in a string chair, Yun Che watched the old woman closely. Cross took out the jewelry box and inspected all the jewelry inside, there really were a lot. His mind turned rapidly, thinking of what to make before something clicked and he grinned.
Yuechan and Qingyue went back to the inner world after talking to the old woman and Cross said to Yun Che "You can handle yourself?" Yun Che nodded and Cross went into the Sky Poison Pearl. Yun Che started talking to the old woman, while Cross was standing in front of Jasmine.
Cross looked at Jasmine and gave her a gentle smile before sitting down and opening the Jewelry box, Jasmine floated over and asked "What are you doing?" Cross smiled and said mysteriously "It's a surprise~" Jasmine clicked her tongue and watched in silence.
Cross took out a 9 colored Purity flower, meteorite chains, all the Jewelry, a drop of his own blood, and a sliver of the green crystalline liquid. His Profound strength exploded out and all the materials hovered in front of him.
He pointed and forced out a bright white string, his face noticeably paled and he cut the string off from his body before using his Void Forging Art. All the materials melted down and fused into and floating ball of material.
The ball was constantly changing color and shape as black molten fluid and air was being pushed out as the ball got smaller. Jasmine saw Cross' pale face and said "Are you okay?!" Cross didn't answer and focused on his work.
Jasmine was getting nervous, whatever he was making will surely be amazing but he was weakening himself by doing it!
Cross was extremely focused as he envisioned his creations in his mind while waving his hands, forming the ball of materials.
A while later
Cross was sweating heavily and clapped his hands. The ball of material turned pitch black and gleamed before 4 necklaces formed. The first necklace was significantly bigger than the others and looked like prayer beads. The beads were the size of Golf balls and fell to the middle of his sternum.
It floated over to Cross, who swiped his blood across it. The beads glowed before dimming, connected with him. They were pitch black.
The other three necklaces were smaller than the original by 50% and were all black.
Cross waved and a crack opened, Luna walked out and said happily "Yes, love?" Jasmine snorted and Luna sneered in her direction. Cross rolled his eyes and said "I made you both something." he took the 3 necklaces and smiled as he put one on Jasmine and Luna.
They looked at each other before Luna said "They're the same?" Cross rolled his eyes again and nibbled on her finger, before running it across the beads. He bit the same to Jasmine and the two necklaces lit up.
Luna's necklace turned Pure white and Jasmine's turned blood red. They looked at Cross in shock and he smiled, two beads on his own necklace glowed and turned White and Red respectively.
Jasmine and Luna both felt a connection to Cross. Jasmine played with her prayer beads and said in awe "What are they?" Cross smiled and said "They connect you to me, when I make a breakthrough to a new Realm, you will gain a bit of my insights, strength, etc. Not only this but you can communicate through the beads. I will hear you, wherever, whenever."
He scratched his cheek and continued "They should also speed up your cultivation and constantly purify your energy while strengthening your body. As well as let me know if you're in danger." Jasmine and Luna were shocked, these were so amazing?!
They looked at Cross, who was giving them a gentle and happy smile. Their hearts melted and they were filled with warmth. Cross was suddenly tackled by both of them, he held Jasmine and Luna with a big happy smile. He gave them a kiss each and smiled goofily, feeling he was lucky.
Jasmine blushed and her face became as red as her necklace, Luna smiled softly and leaned her head on his shoulder as she said "I love you." Cross smiled and replied "I love you too, baby..." he looked at Jasmine and pulled her closer, kissing her head and saying nothing.
Jasmine buried her head in his chest and smiled sweetly. Luna smiled gently before saying slyly "Who's the third necklace for?" Jasmine looked up and narrowed her eyes with a grin, feeling like she had something on Cross now. 'Hmph! This is what you get for embarrassing me!'
Cross coughed and pretended to play dumb as he said "Other necklace? I don't know what your talking about." he shook his head and sighed "Sometime must've gone wrong with the necklaces.. My wife's gone silly!"
Luna smacked him and giggled "You want me to really go silly?" Cross trembled and smiled fawningly as he said "Did I say silly? I meant too smart!" Jasmine giggled and added dangerously "So who is the necklace for?" Cross clicked his tongue and said "I'll tell you when you're older, my little loli~"
Jasmine hissed while Cross and Luna laughed.
3 months passed
Yun Che had actually agreed to stay at the Frozen Harpy Sect because the old woman had taken care of Qingyue before. Cross had made an Ice art for him before getting a crazy idea and asking Yun Che to let him see the Phoenix Art.
Yun Che let Cross look into his memories, Cross copied at the Phoenix Art before studying it intensely for a month. Yun Che practiced the Ice Art Cross had made and mastered it easily. With his Fire and Water Seeds, it was a simple matter.
Cross knew this and forcefully made an Art that went against the Heavens. Cross gave the Jade slip to Yun Che with a very heavy and serious expression as he said "This is 'Frozen Fire of the Ice Phoenix' it is extremely dangerous to even try, if you can't do it then stop right away! Do you understand?"
Yun Che took the jade slip and nodded, Jasmine shouted "Are you trying to kill him!? That Art is impossible! It shouldn't exist!" Cross said seriously "I've read every book and theory about Elemental fusion there is. I'm confident he can do it, but it will be extremely hard to do so."
Yun Che asked "Can you fuse Elements?" Cross turned his palm and a blue fire appeared as he said "Sit" Yun Che sat down and Cross continued "Every Element has a counter part which repulses it. For example, Fire and Ice."
Cross flipped his other hand as the blue fire separated into a golden fire ball and a light blue sparkling piece of Ice, he continued "Each Element can be categorized into Yin or Yang. Fire being Yang and Ice being Yin. Now in my world there was a practice known as Taoism, which believed that Yin and Yang were never truly separated but actually had portions of each other in them."
Cross brought his hands together and the fire and ice slowly spun around each other as he added "The union of two opposites can be extremely dangerous as they are already unstable by themselves, but at the end of the day..." the fire and ice swirled together to form a blue flame that was so cold it burned as Cross finished "Opposites attract."
He dropped the flame and it sunk into the ground, burning a hole in the thick floor, forming a smooth bowl.
Cross looked at Yun Che and said "As for my own energy.. it's the fusion of the world.." he flipped his palm up and a white ball and a black ball chased after each other in counter clockwise. Cross said "The light and the dark, or Life and Death..."
Then 5 balls appeared around the white and black ones, a red one, a grey one, a brown one, a blue one, and a green one. They started spinning clockwise around the white and black ones as Cross continued "The 5 central Elements...."
Outside the 5 spinning balls, three more appeared and spun counter clockwise. They were yellow, transparent and light blue, Cross added "The three spirits. When combined together they form the world..." The circling balls shrunk down and melded into one rotating black ball with multicolored specks in it.
Cross finished "Where there is something, there must also be nothing. The union of Elements can be said to go against Heaven, but they were originally one. Thus, fusing two elements is merely returning them to origin" he crushed the ball in his hands and looked at Yun Che as he said "But this doesn't mean it isn't dangerous! You must be extremely careful when fusing! Just a little bit off and the results could be disastrous!"
Yun Che was in a trance and absentmindedly nodded as he focused on fusing the Ice and Fire.
Cross stepped back with a smile before teleporting to the Sky Poison Pearl, happy that Yun Che got a little enlightenment from his words. As expected, he's amazing and there's nothing he can't do! Jasmine thought otherwise and lunged at him, beating him up for doing something so dangerous.
The 3 month period at the Frozen Harpy sect ended with Yun Che successfully fusing Ice and Fire, before he took a snowbird and left the Frozen Harpy sect to the Divine Phoenix empire.
