The rest of the wedding went by spectacularly. Yun Che got married to 3 beauties at once and left to the Bridal Chamber, Cross saw Qingyue sneak there too. Cross was drinking wine but Luna could tell he was a bit agitated, she patted her arm and said "What's wrong, love?"
Cross put down his cup and said "There's this girl. Her name is Feng Xue'er..." Luna knew who she was but didn't interrupt as Cross said "She.. She reminds me of you when we were younger. This kid has the same last name as her, I just remembered how I left that's all."
Luna held his hand and smiled as she said "What did you think?" Cross smiled and poked her nose as he said "She's cute, beautiful, energetic, in her own world..." he chuckled and added "I even called her by your name when I first saw her."
Luna shook her head with a smile and watched Zephyr and Pandora run around pranking people. They were relatively harmless, sometimes they would tie someone's shoe laces together, other times Pandora would distract someone, while Zephyr stole their food.
Cross had given them stink bombs and they placed them around before letting them loose and running away. The smell wasn't that bad, it was very mild so most of the adults laughed it off and shook their heads at the kids.
One old man directly asked to be the kids' master, only to be told he was smelly. That old man fell to the ground when his shoe laces got tied, the atmosphere was very lively, except for Feng Xichen. The 13547th prince of the Divine Phoenix Empire was seething with rage, partly because he was still tied up but mostly because Zephyr and Pandora drew cat features on his face.
Pandora punched her palm and ran off before coming back with a hair band that had cat ears attached. She put it on Feng Xichen's head and high-fived Zehpyr before running away. Everyone started giving Feng Xichen looks, silently laughing on the side.
Cang Wanhe watched the two kids with a big smile, they called him a smelly old man too, but he told them he was proud to be a smelly old man, making them laugh. He really did like the two little devils, even more now that they were fearless, he sighed to himself wishing they were his grandkids.
Feng Xichen naturally brought bodyguards with him, but they were helpless against Cross in the first place and secondly they thought the kids were cute. They had children of their own, how could they not like little mischievous monsters?
Feng Xichen also died in rage when one of his bodyguards actually gave Pandora a purple coin and a head pat. If he could speak he would definitely say 'Head pats are only for good children! They drew a cat on my face!'
A while later
Everybody started leaving and Cross sent Luna and the kids back into the inner world. He gave Luna a kiss goodbye and she left with the kids. Cross held, a sleeping, Wuxin and sat in front of Feng Xichen after everyone left.
Cross waved over Wuxin and made a soundproof barrier before snapping his fingers and setting Feng Xichen free. First thing Feng Xichen did with his freedom was shout at Cross angrily "YOU FIL-" Cross waved his hand and muted him as he asked the body guards "Does he usually act like this?"
The bodyguards scratched their heads and nodded, Cross sighed and pressed his hand down, Feng Xichen sat back down and was unmuted as Cross said calmly "Listen, boy. I don't care what number prince you are. I just want you to relax and speak like an adult. Are you capable of doing this?"
Feng Xichen flared up and opened his mouth, Cross slapped him and said again "Are you capable?" Feng Xichen snarled "I'll kill you! I'll kill you!" Cross rolled his eyes and said "How many people have tried to kill me so far? They could build an Empire in the underworld based solely on their hatred of me. Maybe you would like to be a prince there instead?"
Feng Xichen trembled and stopped speaking, Cross nodded and said "Out with it, boy. What's the real reason you came here? For the Phoenix blood? I can tell you this, Yun Che has never been to the Divine Phoenix Empire."
Feng Xichen frowned and said "Then-" Cross sighed and said "You're very predictable aren't you? 'Then why does he have Phoenix blood?' Is what you were going to say." he flipped his palm and a ball of golden flames appeared on his hand as he said plainly "I have them too. Have you ever seen me walking around the Divine Phoenix Empire? I have never been there."
Feng Xichen was about to pull his hair out in frustration and Cross said calmly "You know... Your Phoenix Empire is pretty meh. You have a Phoenix Spirit or whatever, does it really matter? I have a Phoenix myself, is it a bad deal? He's an asshole."
Feng Xichen's brain short-circuited, Cross rolled his eyes and said "Go back to your Divine Chicken Empire and stay there." he paused before adding "I'm not insulting your Empire, I just don't like the damn fire chickens. Don't go all 'I will have my revenge!' on me, it's truly tiring. So many people coming for revenge, only to join the Underworld Empire after a single slap."
Cross thought for a moment before correcting "Well most of them didn't even get the change to come for revenge. Anyway, off you go. Thank you for coming to my Brother's Wedding!" Feng Xichen was stunned, the bodyguards were too. Cross was just too peculiar.
Cross got up to leave but Feng Xichen said "Wait! What's your name!" Cross waved from over his shoulder, not even turning around, as he said "Cross." Feng Xichen and the bodyguards' eyes widened in shock before Feng Xichen shot towards Cross' back shouting "You bastard! I will kill you!"
Cross was confused and side stepped, turning his knee out and kneeing Feng Xichen in the air before pulling his knee in and blasting it out sideways, kicking Feng Xichen out of the palace and out of the Imperial City.
Cross looked at the bodyguards and asked "I thought we had a nice discussion?" the bodyguards looked at Cross with complicated eyes, one of them said kindly "This Sir.. I caution to be careful and perhaps hide before we get back to the Divine Phoenix Empire." the other bodyguard nodded.
Cross frowned and said "Why?" The other bodyguard replied this time "Something happened... In any case the Emperor believes you are to blame and has been searching for you for a long time now. It's a direct kill order."
Cross said in confusion "I've never been to the Divine Phoenix Empire, perhaps you got the wrong person? I highly doubt that there is only one 'Cross' in this world." The first bodyguard nodded and said "In any case, your highness, the 13th prince will not care." the second bodyguard added "Please take care of yourself, Sir." before they both bowed and left the Palace.
Cross watched them go before muttering "That was weird, someone must be impersonating me... Am I so handsome I have admirers? Cool~!" as he walked away.
A month passed
Cang Wanhe had a complete reformation. He executed both princes and everyone in their camps before getting busy making for princes, Yun Che spent a beautiful month with all 4 of his wives. Cross was happy and got to relax a bit, he spent his days with Jasmine talking about his 'Void Step' and occasionally flirting, though Jasmine was truly a shy girl.
He got one kiss from her the entire month, Luna on the other hand fought with him on the bed every night as if she was hopped up on aphrodisiac. Cross speculated it had something to do with Jasmine but Luna would never admit it. He naturally didn't care and enjoyed Luna's care as always.
Yuechan enjoyed her time outside and after 2 weeks, she went back into Cross' inner world. Lingxi and Qingyue followed along and started staying inside while Cang Yue stayed outside with Yun Che. She had managed to convince her father that she was leaving to become a top expert and joined the other girls in the inner world.
Luna had been studying profound strength and had become a qualified teacher, she taught the girls and become a 'Teacher' in her own right.
Xiao Lie, Xenophilus, and Yun Canghai became close friends and played Chinese checkers most of the time, while sipping on wine and talking. Xiao Lie had taken the opportunity to become a wine brewer and Cross gave him access to any plants and things he may need.
It was truly good! Unexpectedly Xiao Lie was a great Wine Brewer!
Everything progressed smoothly without any bumps, the Frozen Moron Palace had announced a name change to Frozen Harpy Sect. Cross sighed when he heard the news, these girls... They still couldn't come up with good names?
Cross had also published another book under the same pen name and the sales went to Cang Wanhe as a 'Wedding Gift'. Cang Wanhe almost married his unborn daughter to him, but Cross declined saying that if he kept joking around like this he would find Cross' corpse by the mountains via Mariticide.
Anyway, the book was titled 'The memory of a night under the full moon' it was an Erotic novel targeted at both men and women. Boy did that thing sell! From the sales, almost every single person in the world had a copy!
Cang Wanhe himself even had one, but he was too busy literally swimming in money to read it. Luna and Jasmine read it, however. They both gave Cross strange looks, nothing happened with Jasmine except for a few blushes and a beating but Luna dragged him off and he didn't leave his room for 3 days after that.
Jasmine and Cross talked about the 'Primordial Profound Ark' that Cang Wanhe mentioned to Yun Che about. Jasmine had told him that an 'Ark' was a giant flying ship but she had never heard of one that disappeared and she was curious.
Cross was curious as well and Yun Che confirmed that he would participate in the Tournament in the Divine Phoenix Empire. Cross started getting Harry vibes from Yun Che, somehow everything that happened was centered around him.
He didn't mind it was just he had some crazy luck to run into a second Harry.
Cross was currently sitting outside on the steps of the Palace, smoking and enjoying his alone time. Not that he didn't like being with his girls, but he needed time to himself sometimes. Maybe he would turn into a sex crazy person from too much. Since he had a perfect body that had been strengthened countless times, his Yang Energy was simply immense.
Plus, he only ever had sex with Luna so he was constantly circulating his own Yang energy back into his body. There was no possibility for him to become overdrawn from sex acts, plus he was an elf. If he wanted a woman pregnant, she will get pregnant. There was no maybe.
This was the Unlimited Fertility he possessed.
Yun Che joined him on the steps and sighed "Ready to leave?" Cross scratched his stubble and exhaled a mouthful of smoke as he said "Whenever you are."
Suddenly a snow bird landed in front of them and Chu Yueli got off.
Cross took a drag from his cigarette and gave Yueli a bad look, Yun Che wasn't so discreet and said with obvious disgust "What misfortune do I have you see you today?" Yueli shook and bot her lips as she said "You've been invited to the Sect by our grand mistress."
Cross chuckled, smoke shooting out of his nostrils as he said "And she sent you?" Yun Che didn't speak, waiting for an answer as well. Yueli clenched her fists and said "I volunteered. This has nothing to do with me, the Grand Mistress wishes to see you both."
Cross yawned and said "Whatever, I can see the progress my little creations made." Yun Che nodded and said "Then led the way." Yueli hopped on the snow bird and Cross summoned White. after telling him to be as terrifying as possible, he sat on him with Yun Che and followed Yueli's trembling Snowbird to the Frozen whatever Sect.
Evidently, Cross had already forgotten the name.
